I ran Blustersquall for a while, but I think I'll add it back in again. It's equally good as Sleep , and it's nice to have some variety.

You could add a Tamiyo, the Moon Sage in here. All of her abilities are relevant to your goal.

Currently, I think your mana curve is quite high, and some card choices are suboptimal. Render Silent is outperformed by Spell Snare and/or Spell Pierce , as many of Modern's spells cost very little mana. I would add some Kitchen Finks to help you out against aggressive decks. Also, the manabase would be much more consistent with some fetchlands, replacing the Mystifying Maze s and some basic lands for some Scalding Tarn , Arid Mesa , Misty Rainforest or Marsh Flats . I would also go up to the full 4 Celestial Colonnade , as it is such a potent card in UW Control.

I see your point about Render Silent , I'll replace it with Spell Snare for the moment. However, Kitchen Finks 'll probably go in the sideboard. I'll need to get some fetchlands, but when I do they'll go in. Thanks for your feedback!

@Jozen1515
This is a control deck, but I suppose I could make an exception. Gideon's Avenger is pretty sweet. I'll try him as a one-of. Thanks for the feedback!!

Cryptic Command. Enough said.
Okay, maybe not. Tap all of their creatures during their end and then play your angel dude to wipe.

I originally had it in here, but removed it because the deck focused more on flashing in Sunblast Angel, and less on that. Also, it doesn't help that it's like 60 dollars. Thanks for the comment though

Okay, I guess that makes some sense. Dang, there's some awesome synergy there though. Think about it this way: You have a Sunblast Angel on the field. If you use Cryptic Command during your opponents end step to tap all of their creatures and return Sunblast Angel back to your hand.....
I think that's very deserving. Command would be so versatile in here because although it isn't flashing or blinking Sunblast Angel, I think the way it interacts with all of your other cards is too good to pass on. It serves as a counter, drawpower, recursion, and combo preparation all in one card.
I see how it doesn't work in this version of this deck, but I think with a few tweaks to the deck Cryptic Command could be very useful and perhaps powerful enough to warrant making those tweaks.
Besides, Cryptic Command is down to $35 most places and even lower if you're willing to dig for them. I see your point though how it might not work. Still a very cool deck though. I like it!

Looks good, but it is reliant on your opponent's creatures being tapped. If they don't need to attack to win or if they give their things vigilance, what then?
Consider running creatures that can tap opponents' creatures. Even better, try running more like your Sleep or similar effects like Turnabout, or even Thoughtweft Gambit. They should at least have a place in the sideboard.
You could also turn vigilance to your advantage. If you ran Brave the Sands your creatures are less likely to be hurt by the Sunblast, and your Wall of Frost can tap down two creatures instead of just one.

That's great advice, thanks. Thoughtweft Gambit is a little too expensive at 6 mana, but Brave the Sands I didn't even know about. Do you know any cards that would play well vs control?

For you, the best answer for control might be to run your own control. For example, you could make it so your opponent cannot cast spells when you don't want them to. Silence would work alright, or since you have ways to flash it in, you can bring in a Grand Abolisher during your opponent's end step or your upkeep. That can set them back a turn if done well. There's also effects like Redirect which can be used to turn their spells against them. Play it against a counterspell and you can redirect it onto your own Redirect instead of what they wanted to counter!

two easy things then one more in depth one:
First, you can't have three Wall of Omens in your mainboard and two in your sideboard. You need to lose a copy somewhere, though I'm sure that was simply an oversight on your part. Things like that happen.
Second, why no Flooded Strands?
A little more in depth: Imposing Sovereign is pretty self explanatory. I'm not sure if there is a place for her, but it might be worth looking at. On the other hand, Restoration Angel seems perfect for this deck. Dodge a kill spell, cantrip wall of omens, re-destroy all tapped creatures, and a 3/4 body to boot (and built in flash) seems like it would fit perfectly with the deck.
Anyway, really nice build

Thanks for the suggestions dude. I'm going to cut one Wall of Omens for a Restoration Angel for testing. I actually did have it in here a while back, but removed it, probably cause it doesn't target Sunblast Angel. Could be good though.
The Flooded Strand are also a good idea. I don't like the life loss though, since I'm mainly trying to preserve as much life possible early game. I'll playtest it though.
And thanks for the Wall of Omens catch
