Wrath of the Furnace

Legacy

randymyr

I finally built a red burn deck. It proves to be good 1v1, using both my own as well as my opponents creatures to inflict heavy damage to them, as well as multiple combos which helps keep the flow of damage going. Breaking Point gives me a wonderful option of wiping the battlefield (since my deck doesn't have many defenses anyways) or doing a hefty 6 damage for only 3 mana. Either one is a win win for me. Browbeat does just as good, supplying my deck with some much needed card draw to usher out more pain, or doing 5 damage on its own. Traitorous Blood can give me a decent creature for a turn to hopefully either trample out some competition, or do some nice damage. Followed by a Fling, if it's a strong creature, or an Artillerize just to get rid of it and do 5 damage regardless of power. Kiln Fiend also works in nicely with this combo, getting a +3/+0 buff from the Traitorous Blood as well as a secondary buff from the Fling I'd use on hm, for a nice seven damage. Some Seething Songs and Geosurge s not only allow be to buff up Kiln Fiend more, but would also allow for bigger combos as well as buffing up an Immolating Souleater or Moltensteel Dragon which can also be Flinged. Finally, Charmbreaker Devils and Caged Sun provide me with spells again as well as extra mana. Who can complain to that? Six mountains providing Twelve red mana, which can buff up my Moltensteel Dragon to a 14/4, which can fly over enemies, deal damage and then be Flinged at them for another 14? Yes please!
