I do love me some Hidden Strings. Fabled Hero is the perfect cipher target.

I use Battlewise Valor in my deck because it buffs them up and triggers heroic Here's my deck The legends told of a fabled hero

You need to play Battlewise Hoplite He has such a good board presence as a turn 2 beater and his scry ability is also invaluable to make the deck work because you will always end up seeing cards you don't want to see. He makes the deck more consistent and gives your opponents 4 more creatures he needs to deal with. I was playing a faster version of this deck for a while and I have found that Righteous Authority just is too much mana for what it does. Almost always you cast it and they kill your creature. The deck needs consistency, I would recommend playing Mizzium Skin as well as Gods Willing because they are needed to keep your creatures alive and keeps the beats going. Honestly, if you want the deck to work you need to cut the Ephara, God of the Polis and Ephara's Enlightenment They are doing your deck no favors at all and don't add enough to your board to justify the mana. Ordeal of Thassa is he card you want. It often adds 2 power to the board immediately (with the Heroic and the attack) and then if they don't deal with your creature it gets you two more cards. It is much better than Bident of Thassa as far as card draw goes. I am not saying Bident of Thassa is bad, I personally would consider going to 1 and 1 with Spear of Heliod They would just be a catch all. You can check out my profile to see my version of the deck and how great Nivmagus Elemental is in the deck with Bioshift but you don't have to. Just consider my advice. Overall nice deck. +1

I would take out Daxos of Meletis and add 2 more Ephara's Enlightenment or 1 mainboard Spear of Heliod and 1 Ephara's Enlightenment

I agree with Ludacris, Battlewise Hoplite is just too useful to cut from a heroic deck. ephara and the enlightenment are wasted space in my opinion too. I actually run a similar but slower version of this deck that takes full advantage from the scrying mechanic and it is supremely useful. Gods Willing can either be used to get attackers through when you don't have an Aqueous Form or to keep your creatures alive when they are vulnerable to burn when you first put them down. you can go to my profile and check mine out too if you want. also if you could even replace ephara with a couple Thassa, God of the Sea I think it would be a good idea. even if she never becomes a creature, she lets you scry before you draw, and can let blockers through much like Aqueous Form can.

I prefer to run inexpensive bestow guys over auras and back them up with the Spear of Heliod
. That way I don't get 2 for 1'ed and even the bestow creatures if they fall off are a match for most aggro decks creatures. This also makes the deck resistant to spot removal or sweepers that would otherwise be a blowout against this type of deck.

Nice. Maybe replace Ordeal of Thassa with Gift of Orzhova

I'm running 2 of Ordeal of Thassa and 2 of Gift of Orzhova. Both are really good. I personally keep Detention Sphere in the sideboard, although I may consider moving two to main board. I do agree that more bestow or instant effects like Crypsis or Triton Tactics are a better fit for a heroic deck.

Favored Hoplite is a must for heroic decks, it really needs the one drop creatures. Aqueous Form is really great for a heroic deck, allowing you to push damage through. I'd recommend some counter magic for the sideboard, either Gainsay or Negate is fine.
