The primary conceit of the deck is to control the field through recycled Destroy/Exile effects through Tasigur; with the Torrent Elemental running as an "Always Available" beat-stick.

As such, the deck hosts a suite of various effects to offer the opponent "No good option" whilst still giving you the power to steer the field.
