This deck is set for post-rotational play in the Standard Pauper format. This means all cards, and any suggestions, must be common-rarity, from the current Standard card pool. Additionally, I'd like advice about POST-ROTATION suggestions, as one entire block goes away in October.

Will a mono-colored, vigilant, life-gaining army leave opponents feeling black-and-blue? Will 'warriors' matter as tokens or a subtype classification? Do you have suggestions for the current metagame, and help me develop answers using a sideboard?

I offer an invitation for readers: play me at HIGH NOON (12pm EST) on MTGO on September 16th. I'll host at least one match against any challengers in the Standard Pauper format, in the "Just for Fun" room, as 'ComixWriter'.
