@darcskies17 Thank you, I try really hard to succeed in competitive standard play. I totally agree that garruk is a better planeswalker than ajani. however, i rarely get to 6 lands in a game, and if i do i usually need it to protect my guys or to pump when i swing. he is just too high mana cost for my liking. also, i won 2 games tonight solely due to ajani and he just seems to work great with what i have going on. I will definitely check your deck out

@deanislig i definitely need to add some more plains after i took out call of the conclave for banisher priest mainboard. however, i plan on keeping in 4 selesnya guildgates to prepare myself for the temple scry land coming out in february 2014. so far i have been doing really well with them, but thank you for the suggestion

-1 plains, +1 selesnya guildgate. one turn slower is ALWAYS better than being mana screwed. on turn two, if you have two forest, you're screwed. If you have two plains, you're screwed. A turn one guildgate also slows you down nothing at all in anyway if you don't have a one drop in your opening hand, which you normally wont. Even if you do, it's better.

Good suggestion my friend, and I realize you are correct. Also, I do plan on having. 4 scry temples as soon as Born of the Gods is released so that will also help me prepare for that. Cheers.

+1, soid build! My only recommendation would be to replace Boon Satyr with Loxodon Smiter , I know the Satyr is certainly more versatile, but the 4 toughness is going to be very relevant when BOTG hits.

yeah, i've been hearing a lot of people say that but honestly, i can't see smiter being better for my playstyle. bestow is amazing vs everyone, and it's been an easy way for me to take out blood baron. i have definitely considered this, i am going to stick with satyr for now and if he just isn't cutting it in the meta i'll swap him out for sure. thanks for the upvote!

I feel the same about Boon Satyr vs Loxodon Smiter ,I see why you asked the questions on my G/W based on your build. +1, I like this build version as well.

Armada Wurm is pretty cool, but it can only be cast at sorcery speed which is why i prefer Advent of the Wurm which i can cast on their turn. thanks for the suggestion though

The advice I have whether you decide to take it or leave it, is -1 or 2 brimaz, +1 or 2 Archetype of Courage

especially in a deck like yours

I love the deck but have you considered loosing the Loxodon Smiter for a better curve into an Archangel of Thune ? You already have a powerful 3 drop with Brimaz, King of Oreskos ?
