Maybeboard

The problem with many of my decks, is that swinging creatures at some ones face being your only win con will simply never win in a meta where people make themselves immune to damage, unattackable or simply cant loose the game as often as they do at some of the tables I play at.

So, in the words of Little Finger; "I'm not going to fight them, I'm going to **** them. That's what I know, that's what I am."

The ideal win condition this deck is trying to achive is to have a Paradox Engine and worth of mana rocks out. Playing a spell with X's activated ability then untaps enough mana to do this again and again until the hand you bounced X in to is empty of spells, then to be cast back to your board. Add a Thousand-Year Elixir to immediately bounce him in to the next opponents hand and do it again then the next player too. Due to the pseudo-haste from the Elixir, you can even do this on the turn you play X from the Command Zone. Add Vedalken Orrery and you can do it on your opponents' turns to potentially cast their draws before they can. Add a Temple Bell and then you cast all 4 decks. GG.

The deck runs some low to the ground defensive creatures but for the most part they are

Ultimately, this deck is just a mana engine to fuel X. Now some players are may to say this is an illegal deck due to the one silver border around it's commander after they have played against in once or twice, but fear not. For these people we have a side board Commander in Oona, Queen of the Fae. Rather than use the infinite mana engine to play their deck, exile it instead about 5 times as quickly. Then ask which they would rather face. Presto, X is back. At my LGS and in most play groups attached to the players there, Un cards are ok as long as you stick to the legendary creatures.

Some times this deck will achieve the above on turns 3-5 or even partially on turn 2. the problem with the earlier drafts of this deck is that until it went infinite, it was just a sitting duck so no one would leave you alone early gamce one they have seen what the decks really up to. So, I've added a smattering of defensive pieces designed less to actually be a brick wall and more to make my opponents just not want to attack me. could use some suggestions as its starting to get pretty hard to trim this deck any further for some of the potential new Dominaria additions.

Let me know what you think and any suggested cuts or additions are very welcome.
