I've had this deck since the precon of it came out. It's gone through a lot to say the least. From just silly combos like Mycosynth Lattice and Vandalblast to being more competitive with more counters and cheap storm.

There's some card choices I have kept to keep the deck at the level that it is. I wanted to keep it not turbo cancer. There are no boots for Mizzix to wear. There are limited hard counter spells. No big rocks: sol ring, mana crypt, mana vault, etc. I wanted every card to do something more. The deck can be very strong but it's also very vulnerable. Mizzix dies often. This keeps the game playing to turn 10 instead of 5. Everyone has a better time when the combo player kills people late and quickly.
