By chance, I found a Secret Lair copy of Xanathar, Guild Kingpin at one of my local card shops.

And I've wanted to try building a Commander deck using Gyruda, Doom of Depths as the Companion for a little while now, for an "extra" Commander.

Turns out that those two things can come together to make some magic happen. There is plenty of obvious room for improvement, but that would require a bit of a shopping spree.
