This deck's goal is to attempt to set up a Mystic Forge or Bolas's Citadel to try to storm out artifacts on the top of the deck while filtering the lands/spells off the top with Xantcha, Sleeper Agent

combos/synergies: Show

The goal of the deck is to cast Xantcha, Sleeper Agent early and eventually set up one of the following engines/combos.

Mystic Forge with Semblance Anvil , Foundry Inspector , and/or Ugin the Ineffible lets you play artifacts off the top until you hit a land. If you have a Sensei's Divining Top with cost reduction and a Mystic Forge you can draw the whole deck until you set up a winning combo. You can also often play out mana rocks for free to allow you to filter off top cards with Xantcha, Sleeper Agent until you either combo out or fizzle.

Bolas's Citadel + Aetherflux Reservoir + Sensei's Divining Top is a wincon, but even w/o Sensei's Divining Top you can attempt to storm out for a win or kill since the deck's cmc peaks at 6.

Necropotence is an objectively good card on its own, but with either of the 2 above engines set up it can also filter off the top card allowing even further stormy shenanigans.

Alternatively to storming into a win you can also attempt to make a pseudo stasis lock using Static Orb / Winter Orb and Relic Barrier / Clock of Omens . Since the deck relies mostly on artifacts for ramp you can also play Winter Orb on its own to attempt to slow down the game and assemble a combo. Clock of Omens can also help with ramp tapping itself and another artifact or 2 random artifacts to untap ideally a 3 mana rock like Mana Vault / Thran Dynamo / Gilded Lotus / Basalt Monolith .

Also having an Unwinding Clock with a Mana Vault / Thran Dynamo / Gilded Lotus / Basalt Monolith , and Xantcha, Sleeper Agent can also be a powerful card draw engine.

Finally Krark-Clan Ironworks offers a couple infinite mana combos using Myr Retriever + Junk Diver with either artifact/colorless cost reduction or Scrap Trawler + any artifact that costs one or less.

Krark-Clan Ironworks also offers some emergency mana, the ability to dodge exile effects, you can also use it to sac Wishclaw Talisman after its activation so nobody else gets a tutor, and with Marionette Master and 10 artifacts it can cause 40 damage to every player at instant speed.

In a more drawn out game the deck can also just win off of damage as Xantcha, Sleeper Agent 's ability adds up.
