Where do I begin to even describe the fun-ness of the combo's in this deck!

Battlefield Thaumaturge + Descent of the Dragons + Dragon Tempest is an insta-kill as long as you have at least two other creatures on the board. How it works... Battlefield Thaumaturge makes Descent of the Dragons cost 1 colorless less to cast for each creature targeted. That means that it only costs a grand total of 3 mana to cast it if you control a Battlefield Thaumaturge and at least two other creatures because you target the three creatures with it and turn them into DRAGONS! With Dragon Tempest, since all three dragons enter the battlefield at the same time you deal 9 damage (3 from each dragon that entered the battlefield) straight to the enemy players face! Not to mention that they have flying so they gain HASTE! Which means you can hit someone for 21 damage in one turn (assuming they don't have flyers to block with).

Generator Servant is there for prolonged games or if you really want to try and bust out Atarka, World Render or Ojutai, Soul of Winter sooner since you can sacrifice the Generator Servant's to produce 2 colorless mana and then if you spent any amount of that mana on casting a creature card, that creature then gains Haste.

The Goblin type cards are there so you can get creatures early on that you can sacrifice to the Descent of the Dragons. Also, everybody knows that Goblins worship Dragons, so it's a perfect thematic fit!
