Xenagos doing an unflattering impression of Wort, the Raidmother I built this because it's amusing and challenging to bend a commander so drastically against its strengths; not because I expect to win every game. I'm seeking, for some reason, to hatch a deck that can spellsling, smash with beefy thematic creatures, and make decent use of one of my favorite generals.

--Land untappers like Krosan Restorer benefit from being granted haste by Xenagos. Given the amount of Mana Flare effects the deck has, the untappers often pay for themselves, contribute to storming, and stoke our late-game plan of casting giant X spells.

I'm keen to hear recommendations for any cards (especially spell-oriented creatures) that could make a difference in this ill-conceived deck.
