Have you considered Anguished Unmaking and Blessed Alliance?

Definitely needs Oath of Liliana in there, as it makes them sacrifice a creature, and then you get quite a few zombies which can defend the planeswalker you just played.

I've never seen a Fevered Visions deck played, but they sound just hella fun.

How do you stop the opponent from killing you? Wouldn't aggro be a really tough matchup? I mean... what if they can just play all the creatures in their hand and you're giving them an extra card every turn?

I imagine this vs. control would be very good.

You actually bring up a good point. I thought the same thing but playing it on turn 3 is actually a clock because these aggro decks all play on curve so they'll only play one or two cards every round. If you keep removal and counters, you can hold up and slowly win or try to bash with Planeswalker power. I played against a BG counter deck and Fevered Visions won. I haven't played against Mardu but I've tested and countering Gideon is crucial. But yes it is hella fun.

Maybe you could consider bounce cards such as Unsubstantiate as this returns more cards to their hand and makes FV more effective.

I've considered Unsubstantiate but every time I add it, I end up cutting it. If you can suggest cards to replace it, I will reconsider.

Cut 2 Negates and add to 2 Unsubstantiates as it can be used as a counterspell (kinda). 4 negates seems a bit too much to me. What happens if you go against g/w humans? They've got like 5 noncreature spells in the whole deck. Anyway just suggestions :) I love the build. +1 from me

Alright, ill do and I'll see how it goes tomorrow

I missed that you had barals expertise in sideboard. That's a fantastic card for this deck. Also just testing the draw hand, the deck is extremely powerful, I can see why you won against b/g.

I run a version of this deck that's more low-to-the-ground and tempo based: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/13-01-17-overload/

That said, this version is neat as well.

If you are not a fan of unsubstantiate, I would suggest Gift of Tusks, currently in my board against mardu or green black if need be. It essentially reads pay 1 a red and a blue to murder something with lightning. I am running tower so it's a bit easier to bolt said elephant Gideon but it definitely throws them off guard lol

Have you considered Select for Inspection? It is great in this deck for 3 reasons:

Removes enchantments/counters from the creature attacking

Brings the creature back to its owner's hand, getting more cards in hand and more likely to trigger Visions

Allows you to scry 1 for 1 mana, and your opponents will never see it coming!

Good point, I'll definitely look into it.

I really like clutch of currents as a hand return. 1 Mana to use it and it has awaken. If you draw it later in the game you can pay the awaken to make a 3/3 land and return their card to their hand

I like this kind of deck. I'd suggest putting Thing in the Ice  Flip in the sideboard as it folds to fatal push. However if you face non black it's value grows a lot! I'd make it 3 things and at least 3 gearhulks though. Good luck with it.

April 9, 2017 6:50 p.m.

You make a good point but if you negate their kills, the counters on thing still goes down so you just have observe what kind of deck they are playing with.

i would recommend the new minotaur that deals damage equal to the number of instants and sorcerys in the graveyard and the panharmonican, so you can double that effect and torrentials effect. i would also say remove kefnet and replace him with enigma dragon as you are not as likely to swing with him as you think.

April 17, 2017 7:57 a.m.

I have to ponder the minotaur but I don't want to play panharmonicon just for gearhulk. Good suggestion though. I will probably end up switching Kefnet for Enigma Drake anyways. Thanks

one more thing there is actually a homonculous that lowers the costs of instants and sorceries and can act as a good chump blocker

Curious Homunculus  Flip is what you are referring too. One of my favorite cards, but most people would rather run Baral, Chief of Compliance especially with counters.

Also to add to what others already said, I run Unsubstantiate in both my standard and casual Fevered Visions deck. Great card.

Badass deck! +1
