Had it in this and an Animar deck for a while but now I think i'll hold it back until I get a landfall deck going. It usually bit me in the butt.

Why not run Green Sun's Zenith , Chord of Calling , and/or Genesis Wave ? The first two are great fetch-into-play tutors. The last can serve as a great way to get things into play, and I feel like it would be good even if hydras which come out with it die on impact.

I am getting a Green Sun's Zenith but the other 2 are pricey. I'm a cheap old man and usually only get expensive cards from packs, not singles. Genesis Wave is an incredible card though and I'll get one some day.

I'll agree that Chord of Calling is expensive (especially since Green Sun's Zenith was banned in Modern), but Genesis Wave is less than $2... half the price of GSZ. Just thought I'd mention it.

Huh, the listings on this site all show the high end cost or foil cost. I thought it was more. Gonna see if Asgard Games has one...they are the cheapest I have found (and in the neighborhood).

Satyr Firedancer worked great actually but he was usually killed early on so i just replaced him with Jolrael, Empress of Beasts (so i can wipe out opponents lands). I could Earthquake and use the Satyr's power to kill some flyers and that was fun (should have been called the Satyr Martyr in my deck...)

Nature's Chosen, Thousand-Year Elixir, Magewright's Stone, New Frontiers, Elder Druid, Magus of the Candelabra, Scryb Ranger, Seeker of Skybreak, Nature's Will, and Amulet of Vigor

Thanks for the ideas. Magus of the Candelabra was already in and i'm going to buy a Nature's Chosen and Nature's Will. The little untap guys (like the Magus unfortunately) die really fast so I try to only have one or two at a time in my deck. The artifacts are more tempting and i think Thousand-Year Elixir will be going back in soon. New Frontiers would have to wait until i get more reliable card draw... funny cards though. Its pretty common for this deck to throw out 20 mana for something and that would pretty much put every basic land i have out.

I would swap Vivien's Arkbow for Rhythm of the Wild . Too many X cost stuff for her to grab, which would come into play with X=0. No Bueno. Besides, a 3 mana way of hasting everything? or extra counters if they already get haste? Muy Bueno!

@jaredtritsch only 5 out of 21 creatures need x for counters. The rest come in cheap (because the boss provides +4 to the Bow's tutoring) and many have an X ability for after they hit the board, not as they ETB. No creatures are ever lost since you MAY put a creature onto the battlefield but you're not required to. I get to go through 10% of my deck every round looking for a big creature.
Rhythm of the Wild was almost in but I have 5 haste cards already and i couldn't choose something to take out.
