Another good deathtouch equipment that I have seen in a ton of Kithkin decks is Quietus Spike . Kinda expensive but totally worth it.

Thought of it, but 3CMC and 3 equip would be too slow for this strategy. The idea is to defend efficiently... and combining Thoughtweft Trio or Brigid, Hero of Kinsbaile with Basilisk Collar is just SICK. Thinking of it... I designed this for grouplay, mostly. :)

Righteousness ...okay then.

No Honor of the Pure ?

Wizened Cenn instead ! And Thoughtweft Trio + Righteousness = Surprise mass block. Well... any creature blocking with Righteousness is disgusting :)

No one is ever going to attack into a 5/5 with first strike...

Looks fun to play, but I'd add some Oblivion Ring .

Here are some other viable options!

Hero of Bladehold

Mirran Crusader

Captain of the Watch

Elspeth Tirel

Emeria, The Sky Ruin

Awesome deck! :D

Very nice Kithkin deck! I stumbled over it cause I have on myself, Kithkin massacre. After playtesting against yours mine seems to have a slight advantage - perhaps due to my many creature removal cards and creatures with lower mana cost.

Check out my deck Unlocking the Garrison. Runs along the same lines as yours does, but instead of Kithkin, it's soldiers, allowing for more diversity.

I like to see some Emeria, The Sky Ruin in here.... other than that seems pretty straightforward

Figure of Destiny and Armored Ascension . The figure works with your kithkin style and the armored ascension allows for dealing with flyers. i also recommend Kithkin Harbinger , as your deck is all Kithkin and would allow you to get out the right card at the right time.

Galepowder Mage is another idea. Check out my deck Unlocking the Garrison it also might help.

Maybe some Fire Servant ?

Maybe use Searing Spear instead of Burst Lightning ? Its essentially another lightning bolt for 1 more mana, and won't be as expensive as the former.

I agree with PriestessKikyo1, Fire Servant could be devastating, I have only a single and I throw him in every deck I build that has any kind of RDW feel to it.

I'm just saying, this deck doesn't need to be vintage. It's already legacy legal, and if you just cut Breath of Darigaaz for something like Earthquake then this is legal in modern.

I playtested this deck and it's freaking awesome. The whole deck would cost only a couple of days' worth of savings to buy. +1
