Why no Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx exactly?

• reconaissance In my playgroup, there aren't many, but just enough removal spells, but yeah... it's a little fragile considering that it is vulnerable to Unsummon effects too.
  Primal Command is interesting... a little too heavy in terms of CMC for my taste... but may be worth it. I do like Beast Within for it's aggressiveness, and considering Primalcrux can run a 3/3 beast over, it's not a big deal most of the times. We will discuss the matter... thanks for the feedback.
  

• Quail Price... it's just a matter of price. The other cards were bought when devotion wasn't a thing... and the prices were a lot lower. Maybe in the future I'll add 1 or 2 or 3 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx .

I think Elvish Mystic would be better than Utopia sprawl because it counts towards Khalni Hydra

I was just wondering how good Mwonvuli Acid-Moss was doing for you. I haven't seen it before in a mono green devotion list. I feel as Triumph of the Hordes would be better.

Karametra's Acolyte could be just as useful as the devo shrine. Also with all the ramp you have a Mistcutter Hydra could get HUGE

if you were to use Primordial Hydra , try Mortal's Resolve

This isn't a Tempo, Zoo, or Devotion list. It's not really even an aggro list. Mono-green and Ramp are the only tags that remotely fit.

You need Nykthos if you're going to run MGD. Definitely don't use Karametra's Acolyte Ramp at your 4 slot that can't activate until next turn is awful.

Get Primal Command and Eternal Witness. Primeval Titans and fetchlands are a must as well. Up Garruks to 4.

You have too many Hydras and Cruxes. Scrap Aspect of the Hydra altogether, it's a terrible card outside of limited, even there it's "meh".

Ditch Sapseed forest. That piddly life gain won't save you, especially coming into play tapped. Scavenging ooze is a decent option, especially with Nykthos ramp. You can potentially clear out entire graveyards with the ooze, and at the very least eat their biggest threats from the grave.

Overwhelming Stampede, in this list, is a win-more card. It's completely useless.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but this list needs a lot of work if you want to call it a devotion build.

Also Strangleroot Geist>Garruk's Companion if you're going the midrange devotion route.

One Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx for giggles?

• ARandomGuy Hey! Well, Utopia Sprawl can be exploited with Garruk Wildspeaker and Arbor Elf , I know it is a combo and can be neutralized and all but producing 7 mana on T3 is worth the risk

• miracleHat Mwonvuli Acid-Moss can cripple the opponents very badly when used early, also giving you a Forest . I'd really recommend it when using mono-green builds.

Where's the Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx , man??

I like this deck but agree with Gaffa that Mistcutter Hydra should be in here. Should this deck be tagged with Budget?

You should consider replacing Garruk's Companion with Kalonian Tusker , I've found that it works a LOT better because it can block and/or be blocked by 2/2 creatures without dying.

As a fateful believer in green, I applaud you my friend this is simply amazing!!!

Nice deck, have you considered Predator Ooze over Leatherback Baloth ? It would provide the same devotion but with the added bonus of being capable of surviving most sweepers and removal.

Genesis Hydra might be a good way to quickly cheat in your creatures since you have a lot of ramp. Might be worth play testing.

I would also recommend Gaea's Revenge . It can't be countered, it has haste, and it can't be exiled or destroyed (unless by a board wipe). So basically it has protection from black, white, blue, and red. Super useful.

Genesis Wave would be nice in here. Deity of Scars is also really good at adding devotion, and is just good in general.

You should aim to make this deck resistant from blue by adding Witchstalker or Mistcutter Hydra
