Xyris is too often built as a group-hug commander. This misses the fun of making ridiculous amounts of mana, performing infinite combat steps, etc. with Xyris. The goal of this deck is to pump Xyris with as many pump spells as possible. Then, Battle Hymn, Xenagos, the Reveler, or Thermopod can convert your tokens into mana, allowing you to cast more pump spells and an extra-combat spell. Pick off your opponents one-by-one, until you are close to drawing your deck, and then use Words of War to prevent milling yourself. This deck was built before MH2, let me know if I missed any interesting additions since then.
