Chief Engineer + Soul of New Phyrexia At minimum you will have a turn 5 6/6. If you have other creatures on the field, then it gets faster!

Generator Servant + Scuttling Doom Engine This combo is a turn 4 hasty 6/6 coming to your face. With springleaf drum you can drop this combo on turn 3! Follow this up a shrapnel blast to do an additional 11 damage!

Generator Servant + Soul of New Phyrexia Another turn 4 hasty 6/6!

Darksteel Citadel + Ensoul Artifact Possible turn 2 5/5 indestructible creature... YUS PLIS

Ensoul Artifact + Ornithopter Another possible turn 2 threat that becomes a 5/5 flyer!

Ensoul Artifact + Springleaf Drum This is not a bad play but not the best since it does not have indestructibility or flying, but still serves as a 3 mana cost 5/5 mana ramper.

Ensoul Artifact + Hammer of Purphoros Good but not as great. Basically a hasty 5/5 for 5 mana with the ability to generate golem tokens.

Ensoul Artifact + Goblin Kaboomist Why not ensoul a Land Mine? Who cares if Kaboomist dies if I can play a 5/5 Land Mine who can pay R and deal an additional 2 damage.

Scuttling Doom Engine + Shrapnel Blast So much goodness here... Attack for 6, then blast it for a total of 17 damage... YUS.

Shrapnel Blast + Soul of New Phyrexia Not the most optimal choice but still an option.

Darksteel Citadel + Shrapnel Blast Again, not optimal, but an option.

Ornithopter + Shrapnel Blast Quick 5 damage to the face.

Shrapnel Blast + Springleaf Drum Another quick 5 damage to the face.

Hammer of Purphoros + Shrapnel Blast Not my first choice. In fact I may never do this, but it is an option. This would be okay if you are responding to artifact or enchantment hate.

Quick note, Shrapnel Blast is all ways better whenn responding to an opponents spell that would destroy an artifact you control!
