Maybeboard

Apparently I need a description. So here's the Yarok EDH deck I'm playing!

This sure isn't cEDH by any means but we're definitely a try hard with several sprinkles of 'fun' in this deck to make it interesting/enjoyable! With reasonable consistency, this deck can attempt to go off on turns 6-8 and has a decent amount of interaction to make that happen!

To point out some of the lines of play/combo's

Yarok, the Desecrated + Palinchron makes infinite mana and so does Palinchron and Deadeye Navigator.

With infinite mana you can Finale of Devastation or Torment of Hailfire for the win but since we're playing Yarok, the Desecrated who doesn't want to use the majority of tutors in the deck for Deadeye Navigator or Temur Sabertooth to blink your board for value/wins? You can blink Craterhoof Behemoth for infinite power/toughness/trample or Avenger of Zendikar for infinite bodies or blink Eternal Witness to recur cards or blink Venser, Shaper Savant to bounce everyone's permanents. Keep in mind that if you have infinite mana but don't have a way to blink, Venser, Shaper Savant can still target itself with the second trigger to keep recasting and bounce all their permanents. All fun ways to abuse ETB's!

An example for a line of play (with Yarok on the board) is to use something like Woodland Bellower to find Fierce Empath (and can also find something else like - Wood Elves? Ramunap Excavator? Reclamation Sage? Risen Reef? Eternal Witness? As long as you grab Fierce Empath the other card can be applicable to the game state) which finds Deadeye Navigator and Palinchron. Use Palinchron to create infinite mana and then use Deadeye Navigator to blink Fierce Empath and find Craterhoof Behemoth (and any other applicable card like Avenger of Zendikar). Blink Deadeye so that you can soulbound with CraterHoof and blink until lethal. I usually wait and/or tutor to find countermagic backup before attempting to go off. Granted this is a fairly long/convoluted chain of events but as I mentioned above - fun and still game ending in the process! Tooth and Nail can just win on the spot depending on the boardstate (along with any of the other tutors that can find missing pieces and close out the game).

There's also the option of Dread Presence and Scapeshift and/or Splendid Reclamation with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth (or substitute Field of the Dead for a similarly explosive effect). Yarok doubles the trigger on Dread Presence and Field of the Dead so they can be an easy way to win games. As long as Yarok in play, blinking Ulvenwald Hydra works well with these two options and if you also happen to have Lotus Cobra in play, blinking the Hydra becomes free until you run out of lands (it's a nice option when folks won't let you play with Palinchron!). There are a couple ways to tutor the necessary pieces so any of these variations are realistic way to go off. Also remember that Thespian's Stage has multiple ways of being useful but copying Field of the Dead can get out of hand quickly. That and it seems more and more people are also running Field of the Dead in their decks so if you don't find yours, copy theirs! Also remember that Spark Double can copy Yarok, the Desecrated (or any other creature we have not to mention Teferi, Master of Time!) to add redundancy but more importantly push these particular land based lines through to a win. FYI Spark Double is also our choice over Panharmonicon currently since it can be much more flexible to the game state and when it copies Yarok, it still supports the land theme of the deck which Panharmonicon does not.

If all else fails there's the typical lands deck with graveyard interaction for the 'midrange' type beatdown (Titania, Protector of Argoth, Tireless Tracker, Woodland Bellower, Avenger of Zendikar, Ulvenwald Hydra, Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath, Field of the Dead and finishers Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation). There's a lot of value and a little recursion here so if folks clamp down on all your combo win options (which they often do), you can still just turn your stuff sideways for the win. It's one of the reasons I really like this build and is the favorite in my collection. It has a lot of flexibility, adaptability and decision points making it feel like the piloting of the deck is the key to your success (versus something that's straight combo with every part being a redundant chain of events or a very linear build which follows the same strategy/gameplan every time.)

I also wanted to note that there are a few Elementals floating around in the deck that actually work well with Risen Reef. Keep an eye out for all those triggers (Titania, Protector of Argoth plus all the tokens, Yarok, the Desecrated, Avenger of Zendikar, Mulldrifter, along with Spark Double or blink effects like Deadeye Navigator or Temur Sabertooth. That and a kicked Rite of Replication on a Risen Reef with Yarok in play will put you 60 cards deep making it easy to find your winning pieces.

I've been playing this list for some time now and it's fairly competitive and an awful lot of fun to play. If lands are you're thing or a deck that relies heavily on your decisions/choices/direction throughout the game then you might want to consider giving this list a try.

Questions and/or feedback are welcome.

Enjoy!

Just want to see how this performs

Rite of Replication out for Mystic Reflection

Temur Sabertooth out for Windfall

Life from the Loam out for Hullbreacher

Mystic Reflection can be similar to Rite of Replication in a manner of speaking but also can be interaction so definitely want to try it out. Windfall is for some more card draw and another Mystical Tutor target. I'm going to try cutting Temur Sabertooth even though it's usually my backup to Deadeye Navigator but much more expensive to operate. If I miss it I might try Solemn Simulacrum as the swap.

Life from the Loam is great too but I have a few other ways to grab lands back and I want to try Hullbreacher out to minimize my opponents advantages but more so for the additional ramp to try and combo faster or continue to multi spell more often (which might make Sabertooth stick around). Hullbreacher has the upside of being backbreaking with Windfall too.

So I guess we'll test and see how it goes!
