My very first EDH Deck was a Kaalia of the vast one, in a 1v1 she was almost unbeatable, but in multiplayer she always lose.

I always felt that the problem with Kaalia is her lack of blue, so she cannot be protected as well as blue can.

Now, Yennett, cryptic sovereign seems to be what I was looking for.

My goal with this deck is beating faces, not playing infinite combos but I want to chieve at least a 50% winrate.

The deck is under construction, needs a lot of advise so please if you think a card is bad just tell me, if you thik a card is a must and I dont have it, please tell me wich card is it

As it is said in the introduction, The strategy of the deck is being a viable Kaalia deck, So the goal is beating faces with big creatures such as Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, or build an big army of angels with Entreat the Angels and if everything else fails then have an alternate wincon such as Approach of the Second Sun

While reading the stats please note that sometimes one single card acts as two or more effects

I priorize versatile cards so many of my cards will serve more than one purpose, the card draw count seems a little low but remember that yennet herself is a card draw engine and the deck has a lot of card selection wich actually counts as 1/2 draw

While the card draw count may seem a litle low, Yennet herself draw us 1 card every single time and because our card selection we can get what we need most of the time.

Why extra turns??? I thought you said you dont want a super competitive deck

Wel, if you see this list without the extra turns you will realize this is a "weak" deck that relies on a bomb to actually do something, I played her without extra turns and the games went this way:

  1. Yennet hits the battlefield and die/controleed unless I have a counterspell in hand
  2. Yennet drops a bomb and the 3 other players gang up on me without even asking who I am going to attack next turn.

So, I ended putting a few counters and some extra turns to be able to actually play the things I want to play and it went very well, I was able to play the deck, doing a great deal of goodstuff and also win from time to time.

So extra turns are for being able to cast a Ulamog and have at least one combat with it

We need ramp because, Yenent needs a counter backup when casted, we dont want to have her T4-5 if we cannot protect her from removal or Control Magic effects

And also, we may be need to hardcast somethings at certain point of the game
