In my seemingly never ending quest to build as many decks as I can, I have stumbled upon my third Esper Commander. Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign obviously leans toward a very specific strategy, and I leaned into it really hard. Using topdeck manipulators like Sensei's Divining Top , Brainstorm , and Soothsaying let me stack my topdeck to repeatedly get threats into play. I added a few pillowfort cards like Propaganda and Blazing Archon I keep off attackers while continually getting value from Yennett's attack trigger. Being able to drop big threats like ulamog, or cast huge spells like Expropriate all for free is what drives this deck forward. Outvalueing your opponents has never been cheaper (manawise at least).
