I would say Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir drop bombs on their turns as well.

Good idea!

People tend to hate on teferi though. :(

what about Future Sight and Seedborn Muse ?

Lhurgyof says... #4

Future Sight is nice, but Seedborn Muse is very hard to find and way more expensive than one would expect. All good ideas.

Yeah, I didn't realize until I went to go buy one.

you only have 98 cards in the deck FYI. you need 100, including the commander, for a full EDH deck.

Woops, don't see how I missed that!

I love Intet, the Dreamer! Some thoughts:

  1. If I were running this deck, I'd be looking for even more top deck manipulation. Cards like Mirri's Guile are great here, as well as anything that gives you scry effects such as Crystal Ball. I'd also consider adding in the other temples and Halimar Depths for extra looks at your top.

  2. Don't forget about tutors! Since your main win cons appear to be creatures, I don't think Personal Tutor or Mystical Tutor are worth it, but their green brethren Worldly Tutor and Sylvan Tutor would definitely be a big help. I also find with Intet that I often want cards that are in my hand on top of my library: hello Brainstorm, Dream Cache, and my favorite Conch Horn.

  3. Tooth and Nail is definitely worth including if you have it. With Intet's ability, you still have the option to pay the entwine costs of any spells, so if you pay for Intet's ability, two more mana will let you fetch and play any two creatures you want.

Hope this was at least mildly helpful!

Nice suggestions! I'll have to see what of those I have. I know I have a spare Halimar Depths, but I don't know if I'm using my Worldly tutor or not right now.

Tooth and Nail is another great card!

I picked up a Worldly Tutor. What would you suggest cutting?

Hmm... Well, you have a lot of "destroy target artifact or enchantment" cards. In my experience I haven't run into too many problematic artifacts or enchantments in EDH that needed destroying, so maybe you could cut one of those? (Unless, of course, you tend to see a lot more enchantments/killer artifacts)

Another route might be to look at your counterspells. Right now, it looks like you only have two, which means you won't be holding a counter very often and, if you are, it's going to be saved for only the most dire of circumstances. I might consider dropping both of them (it feels risky to fly without any counters, but honestly two isn't enough to really impact the game) for Worldly Tutor and another card or upping the number of counterspells to at least eight (though I'd suggest the former since you're not really playing a control deck)

Nice points. I took out a Naturalize, though I only have two counterspells they're multi-use (capture ramps me and voidslime can hit a lot of different things).

saj0219: I have changed around the deck some more, focusing more on creatures and top-deck manipulation. Any more thoughts?

Here's some hidden gems for top deck manipulation, which don't see much play, but are pretty awesome in my deck - Penance and Dimir Machinations.

There's also Hidden Retreat and Agonizing Memories so you can pick which of them suit your play style. The latter has the added benefit of delaying your opponent's draw by 2 turns if you used it on him/her.

Leaving the link to my Creatureless Yennett deck here so we can trade pointers going forward. Cheers!

Interesting. I had considered Penance but the color restriction seemed too prohibitive. I do like hidden retreat however.

I'll go through your deck lists and see what might be good to run. Thanks for the feedback!

Lhurgyof For Penance you can let the black source be your Commander if there're no other sources around. Fog your own commander to cast a bomb from your hand for free, still worth it imho.

Sure, do check out my deck and hopefully you can find some inspirations. Feel free to leave suggestions or comments there too!

After giving it a look-see I can find some fun cards to include. Particularly, Tragic Arrogance seems like a good removal card to top deck.

Excellent choice. And you get tk cherry pick which permanents they get to keep. It gets around indestructible and shroud/hexproof too!

No Void Winnower? Would fit perfectly here.

Sorry for the double post. Gilt-Leaf Winnower would be fun as well.
