Generous Patron looks a bit out of place, unless I'm not seeing what it's use is in the deck. you can grow someone elses creatures to draw cards, but is that good? unless you don't care that they grow of course

ah, I misread, sorry, yeah, I see that now, it is in here too. my bad. hmmm nice.
August 25, 2019 11:04 a.m.
Generous Patron draws cards at instant speed. It is also an outlet to our wincon if you utilize an infinite bounce loop. We generally don’t care how big our opponents’ creatures get since combat is never a factor in how this deck plays.

In the final kill loop, how do you get Beast Within back to your hand after you koll your own Eternal Witness ? Primal Command shuffles GY, searches E-Wit ... you play E-Wit targeting Primal Command , Kill E-wit with Beast Within (Now E-Wit and Beast Within are are in the GY, and you cast Primal Command to shuffle your GY into library and tutor E-wit to supposedly do it all again? I'm not understanding how this goes infinite? Maybe you need to expand on the detail in that section

Chhris You are actually right, but remember that Beast Within gives you a Beast every time you do that!
September 8, 2019 8:23 a.m.
Chhris: This is a result of my laziness catching up with me and I am terribly sorry. I will have this amended and I'll tag you as soon as I've fixed it. Thank you so much for taking an interest and for the upvote.
When I copied and pasted the primer into the budget, I at the time needed a back-up if Temur Sabertooth was exiled in the budgetless version and that back up became the loop you see here (at the time Cloudstone Curio was removed; reference budgetless updates for context). In this version it is missing Staff of Domination which is what's missing; the draw outlet to redraw into the cards reset by Primal Command .
This line is still doable, but you need a way to draw into Beast Within and Eternal Witness after the reset. It's less reliable, but you can keep churning out creatures with Beast Whisperer and with Duskwatch Recruiter Flip you can eliminate all creature. This line's purpose is to create infinite 3/3 tokens and tuck every noncreature permanent on the table.
Please note that this line is slated to be removed and your comment has given me the necessary motivation to put more work into the budget version to avoid embarrassing moments like this.
September 8, 2019 2:12 p.m.
Chhris: The line has been removed and every other viable line available as of yet has been described in the Kill Loops. The Card Selection categories now reflect the custom categories in the decklist.
These changes were mostly for cosmetics and clarity, but stay tuned as I will be working on this in the coming days. Cards currently being tested: Root Maze , Guardian Project , Krosan Grip , and Emerald Medallion .

Inkmoth all good man, for what it's worth, not embarrassing at all! this deck is awesome, and the write up is really heavily-detailed and accurate. There was bound to be a typo somewhere :) This is amazing and keep up the good work! :)

Thank you so much, Chhris. Comments like yours are the reason I try so hard for the guide to be as detailed and informative as possible. I hope you keep tuned in as I plan to keep these decks evolving with the times for the foreseeable future. :)

What do you think of Shared Summons ? Pretty good deck BTW, i'll assemble it as soon as possible. +1
September 13, 2019 11:27 p.m.
Jefello: Dude, I am so glad to hear that, lmk how that goes! :D
As for Shared Summons , it's actually in there already.
September 13, 2019 11:35 p.m.
Oh, my bad. Didn't see it there. But still, thanks for the deck idea, i'll surely assemble it.
September 14, 2019 4:17 a.m.
So, i've assembled the deck with some small changes (my pod has a lot, A LOT OF HATE so basically i needed to + wrap in vigor and sylvan safekeeper) but the deck is amazing. I don't win every game, after all i'm not playing a tier 1 deck on a competitive level but my pod has a good Power Level overall. But on every single game i've been treated as a "thread" every time. Thanks for the deck man, not only i've had tons o'fun but it inspired me on building a Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage but instead of combos, you lock the game (infinite turns with Magistrate's Scepter or locks with Lavinia, Azorius Renegade / Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Knowledge Pool .
September 29, 2019 4:34 p.m.
Jefello: Wow, that's super cool! Glad you're enjoying it, dude!! :)
That's exactly what my games are like, I am always treated as the archenemy so it adds a lot of pressure to make the correct plays at all times. Super happy you're having fun with it, and I would love to see your list, if you didn't mind, I am always searching for inspiration. Sylvan Safekeeper is phenomenal, but I removed him a long time ago due to the lack of lands in the budgetless, but seems to make sense here with more lands to sac. I might consider him or Eladamri, Lord of Leaves since ver. is more elf centric.
As for Raff, I keep starting him, but I am just so hooked on Yeva, I can't drop it for any other deck. Also stay tunes, I got some changes to budget. Probably sometime this week.
September 30, 2019 12:35 p.m.
would The Great Henge be worth it to include? Noty sure what you take out. it might break the budget slightly as it is 15-16 $ currently.
October 21, 2019 3:28 p.m.
Fallerup: Unfortunately it's too slow :/ Guardian Project is theoretically better since we cast this for 5 on average. With Paradox Engine banned it's even weaker.
October 21, 2019 6:14 p.m.
another creature you could include in the removal package is that new mammoth that fights another creature when it or another creature enters, then with infinite mana, you can bounce him with cat and he fights a creature and with GOG, you can make him bigger if needed. so he enters, fights something, you bounce GOG, make the elephant bigger and he fights again, you bounce the elephant, he comes back as a 6/6 and fights again, so you switch bounching these 2 creatures, it's also a may ability, so he doesn't have to fight, so if you, say, need to take out a very large creature, you can just bounce GoG a few times, the elephant gets +2/+2 every time and then when its big enough, it fights the creature. it's called Thorn Mammoth by the way.
October 22, 2019 6:26 a.m.
Fallerup: 7 mana is way too much for a fight mechanic. Ulvenwald Tracker already fulfills that role as the purpose of fighting in this deck is early removal and closing the game with Shaman of Forgotten Ways once every creature has been killed. Buffing creatures for the sake of fighting is another waste of time since early game you use Yeva as a 4 damage dealer and when you go infinite you can keep using Yeva as the fighter (recast from the command zone everytime she dies), you also have the indestructible Temur Sabertooth , or infinitely big Genesis Hydra . Thank you for taking the time and I am sorry I turned down your suggestions. If you want to understand the creature killing loops please refer the Kill Loops section.
October 23, 2019 9:04 a.m.
it's fine, I understand, 7 mana might be a lot. I just thought, in mono green it might not matter, if you use Yeva for fighting that's all well and good too.

so I'm putting this deck together now, looking at the cards I already own, I seem to have found a Carpet of Flowers and a Sylvan Scrying I don't use, I see you have that in the main deck. what card would you take out for them? or would you put them in at all?
October 24, 2019 6:52 a.m.
Fallerup: You don't really need Sylvan Scrying if you don't have Gaea's Cradle , so you can get away with not running it. As for Carpet of Flowers , you definitely want that. It's ridiculously good.
October 24, 2019 9:37 a.m.
how about using Sylvan Scrying to find Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx or Geier Reach Sanitarium ?? I know they are no Gaea's Cradle , nothing is really, but Nykthos can be big mana, and the other one helps you mill out the table. But maybe it's not worth the include. I'm gonna experiment with it at least, since I own the card anyway
October 24, 2019 11:35 a.m.
Fallerup: Sylvan Scrying 's purpose IS to find Gaea's Cradle , Nykthos is just the back up plan that makes Scrying worthwhile.
Geier Reach Sanitarium is used for milling only when you hit infinite mana with an outlet. If you read its combo lines it specifically wants Geier Reach to be either in the DECK, GRAVEYARD, or FIELD. It also gives you specifics on what to do if it IS stuck in your hand. Sylvan Scrying is supposed to be a Cradle/Nykthos and it is a terrible card in the budget version. You're better off with Growing Rites of Itlimoc Flip/ Elvish Guidance in that slot if you already don't have them.

Really sweet deck. I love the way it plays. The only problem, it doesn't hold up very well in a cedh environment because the combo, while sweet, is just not streamlined. Have you considered Sword of Paruns? It goes infinite with anything that taps for more than four. Also, have you considered soul of the harvest and guardian project? for when the deck runs out of gas it is really hard to regain it and it generally means the deck has lost. Finally, (lol long comment) do you have any suggestions for a non-budget version of this deck? I'm having so much fun with it that I'm thinking of fully cedh-ing this deck out and going full non-budget. Thanks.

what would you take out for it then? I'm asking because.. well, you made the deck :D
