Kamerot: I can assure you it's not. I have Teferi and TnT to deal with lately and they've been hard as all hell.
You have the most viewed Monogreen deck I've seen on here, so thank you so much for the kind words, means a lot coming from you :D. Mono Green for life, indeed!
Fallerup: That's entirely different, I can actually interact with that by using either Noxious Revival or Scavenging Ooze . I also like putting in Scavenger Grounds when dealing with GY oriented decks.
April 8, 2019 2:09 p.m.
How is Scavenger Grounds ? I've been contemplating picking one up.
April 8, 2019 2:17 p.m.
Scavenger Grounds is scary the later into the game since it's symmetrical, however it's pretty useful depending on the meta. I've had it out, since Scavenging Ooze and Noxious Revival are all I have needed lately, but push comes to shove, I would run it again if the meta shifts to be GY oriented again. However, the deck in its current state can deal with almost anything thrown at it.

Hmmm, i may pick one up just in case. Thanks for the info.

Kamerot: Dude, it's no problem at all. Feel free to hmu anytime! Glad I could help in one way or another.

Now, I know you say that every slot is tied into the combo... buuuuuut - and I say this loosely: have you thought about karn liberated as an outlet?
With abundant mana and looping your deck you can get him into play, tick him up/down to remove all permanents/strip all hands, loop mouth of ronom to kill him & repeat; conversely are there any walkers that are within the realm of both castable and relevant enough to play in the deck?
Long af, and his mana cost is unreasonable... but he does something the turn he comes down. He's probably the optimal for interaction, but walkers aren't the worst idea in the world.
April 9, 2019 9:05 a.m.
CyborgAeon: Unless I am looping it by using Primal Command (to tuck Karn) or Beast Within (to kill Karn), there's really no other practical way to do it. Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through to get a sorcery speed exile... In that scenario even Scour from Existence is better, since I need one card less to loop it. Also, the cards necessary to loop Karn create a game winning-state loop themselves. To my knowledge there are no optimal choices for planeswalkers for the deck. I've tried almost all of them too.
Unfortunately, Mouth of Ronom only hits creatures, if it hit anything I wouldn't run Geier Reach Sanitarium as an alt win-con.

! Of course; my bad. I'm glad that you've considered the walker-route at least.

CyborgAeon: It's all good dude! Generating interest in the deck is my overall goal, so I like to hear everything anyone could possibly consider. Thanks again for taking an interest in my deck! :D

BT Dubs;
Not sure if it's been spoken about - but there's a couple things from the new set that I guess you're likely to be running. If you don't follow spoilers/want discussion about cards that can't be tested on this page I won't clutter - just thought I'd preamble to find out first.
April 16, 2019 9:23 a.m.
CyborgAeon: Yeah, so far nothing has really peaked my interest aside from Emergence Zone , which opens the flood gates once I go infinite making every line available at instant speed.
Currently trying to work out whether Soren841's suggestion of removing Cloudstone Curio is feasible. Chrome Mox might also be cut, even though I might be getting some degree of scrutiny for that decision, so I plan to elaborate with as much subjective reasoning as I can. I really want Root Maze in the list as well, so that might be going in Chrome Mox 's slot. I have some big changes coming soon, but I'm honestly on the fence about everything as I am a perfectionist to a fault.
As for the other spoilers. I tried Bond of Flourishing for a bit. It was okay, if it was an instant, I would've definitely kept it in. Band Together was pretty sweet, but Somberwald Stag being tutorable and bounceable has left me on the fence.
All around I need WAY more testing before I do anything definitively. The deck is now entering a phase where infinite mana/outlet means a definite win, so I want to streamline it and expand on more proactive measures now that I know its win-con is pretty secure.

Hm; I'm surprised; I would've thought that cards such as the new GSZ would've been on your radar - given that it stops you falling behind due to a key piece being in the yard. Does the blast zone not remotely interest you either?
April 16, 2019 10:45 a.m.
I like blast zone, but it may hit Yeva too much and it cant hit 0 drops. What new GSZ?
April 16, 2019 10:49 a.m.
CyborgAeon: I wasn't 100% sure on whether or not the new GSZ was real. I would love it tbh. Now sure what I would cut though.

This one: Finale of devastation. It's xGG: tutor for a green creature with mana cost x||less, if x = 10 || more, creatures you control get s gain haste and +X/+X until end of turn.
Exile Finale of devastation.
It's just another great tutor (also a win-con I guess with infinite mana and like 3 dudes; but not something you'd outright say is a win-con)
April 16, 2019 11:11 a.m.
Oh. The new GSZ is real yes. It seems very OP

What's the main utility with fierce empath? I know he fetches Woodland Bellower (random btw: bellower looks so cute in foil), who then fetches a different card; he also grabs Great Oak Guardian . Maybe he's an option? Swapping out instant-speed tutor that's quite limited for sorcery speed tutor with less restriction and can win the game seems... reasonable.

The Koziest of tutor targets. Ok; so he can tutor for kozilek; but the engineered explosives on 1 is pre' bad for this deck anyway - most of your problem permanents are 2 mana ( Cursed Totem , Defense Grid , Sphere of Resistance , Null Rod / Stony Silence , tibalt). There are so very few options who get nutted by blast zone (I think you have six 2-drops) that it seems fairly worthwhile. Yes, I know that all of your removal hits all of those problem-cards already as you're in green, but this is a land that hits multiple at once, as opposed to being 1-for-1, this card is (genuinely) card parity in a 4-player game (since every card has to be 3-for-1 or it's card disparity).
April 16, 2019 11:42 a.m.
CyborgAeon: Currently he's a clampable elf body that looks for Woodland Bellower , GoG , or Regal Force . Also comes in with Woodland Bellower to get either of the other two as we see fit. I have found Empath to be invaluable in the grand scheme of things.
As for removal, I've been dying to work in Natural State , Tribute to the Wild , Krosan Grip , and/or Emerald Charm (which can go infinite).
Soren841 is trying to convince me to run Kozi, but that's very questionable and would require loads of testing before I even remotely consider it. I'd really hate to draw into that card when I could get anything else.
The new GSZ will be going in, I just don't know in place of what yet. I've been barely sleeping wracking my brain on this deck. Though I think it's at the brink of becoming substantially stronger, which I didn't know it could be possible (ha! that's been the recurring mantra since I made this deck).

Aye don't lose sleep on it. You've got me brainstorming subconsciously like all the time haha

so no Entomb + Reanimate combos in your meta I understand, this would get Iona out on turn 2 or something like that, but you already sad they mostly play blue so I guess you don't have this problem.
