Deck is really cool, I love the idea and I like how you threw in a little bit of mill, great deck.

I run a list based off of this one. It is super fun. Nice work on the list, my version is different only due to local meta considerations. I am now drooling over this spoiler.
http://www.magicspoiler.com/mtg-spoiler/allosaurus-shepherd/
Allosaurus Shepherd Elf Shamman 1/1 G
Allosaurus Shepherd can't be countered. Green spells you control can't be countered. 4GG: Until end of turn, each Elf you control has base power and toughness 5/5 and becomes a Dinosaur in addition to it's other creature types.
Instant include over the Prowling Serpopard I already run.

Oh, should you mention the cool way you can lignify with genesis on a shroud creature, then fight it, recur the lignify to top with Noxious revival, then genesis it again on another, rinse repeat for infinite killing of untargetable creatures? You only seem to mention the lignify trick with genesis but not how to loop it xD
Super corner case, so idk if it matters tho
June 18, 2020 3:47 p.m. Edited.
precociousapprentice: Thank you very much for the suggestion! I already added it to the Moxfield version of the deck (still awaiting on T/O to make it available).
It's going to be replacing Prowling Serpopard as you would expect.
12_dwarfs: Thank you so much for the comment and the upvote<3
SynergyBuild: I always thought that explaining the Lignify + Genesis Hydra trick once at that point, given how fleshed out every other loop is that people would figure that one out. But I'll include it for the sake of posterity :) (that super corner case actually happened twice; very satisfying wins)
Also, expect an update very soon guys! I was thinking some time next week. However, in my last update I mentioned a couple changes I was struggling with and it all came down to these cards being NECESSARY to the deck:
I have no idea as to what to remove for them. So help will be greatly appreciated.

Ngl, listing cards I am not a fan of, but want to get your opinion on.
Natural Order - Powerful, no doubt, but Regal Force is probably the best target for mana efficiency, and I just think a counter on this is too bad, considering it's sorcery speed in an instant speed deck. Could be dropped for Evolution, it's similar, and is cheaper, with few cards that cost that much that you'd need.
Emerald Medallion - Just not a fan, this deck roughly has 42 possible cards it can affect, with 28 failcases on it directly, for storm turns it's good if on field, but it's bad if you draw it and need instant speed mana. I'd think spinner is better.
Idk about the wire though~

These are cards that are on the proverbial chopping block, along with your suggestion. How do you feel about the rest SynergyBuild?
June 18, 2020 4:25 p.m. Edited.
Maybe drop Elvish Visionary for Destiny Spinner as it fits the same cmc slot. Although it doesn't provide a card draw, it provides great utility. I agree with SynergyBuild with the other 2 drops.

Natural Order: This coming out feels like a cardinal sin, this is also coming from the guy that removed Eldritch Evolution for a bit, only to put it back in on a whim and steal every win thanks to EE and NO. Straight to the battlefield tutors surprisingly go for Combo pieces or Seedborn Muse more than Regal Force.
-
Emerald Medallion: I can say it's bugged me to draw it on turns where I am digging, but I am utterly terrified of touching my ramp package.

That New One drop elf from the Jumpstart set should %100 be added to this deck. Maybe almost over destiny spinner. Green spells is just way stronger for a 1 drop.

What would Kogla loops look like? I say if they are close to the efficiency of using Curio then he's worth it. Curio has the advantage of having loops that only require a dork tapping for 3, while Kogla scout needs a dork producing minimum of 6 but is tutorable, and he streamlines kill loops on other players' turns by not requiring emergence zone to get thousand-year elixir out for tracker.
Tower scout probably could find a place on his own because he's cheap, puts more reliance on cat if you don't include Kogla.
June 26, 2020 1:19 a.m.
l13199l: It'd look exactly like that, a dork producing 6 mana, but tutorable. I was mostly considering it cause Selvala Brostorm implemented it. I don't think I could take the psychological toll of swapping Cloudstone Curio with Kogla, the Titan Ape on the principle of messing with my Avg CMC. So I'm really at a loss. Hyrax Tower Scout will find a place, I just can't seem to find a slot atm. For now, I am MORE than satisfied with the list.
Also, Genesis Hydra is almost always looped for the Thousand-Year Elixir on the winning turn. Emergence Zone is for the situation it gets stuck in your hand. Otherwise we dig and Noxious Revival and Genesis Hydra for it.
Kamerot: Thank you so much, dude!! <3

sorry - I know I'm missing something but what's the purpose of Carpet of flowers? I can see it's useful if other players run blue, but can't see what you are doing with it if they don't.
July 12, 2020 4:26 p.m.
chriswheeler2017: This deck is intended to be thrown against other cEDH/fringe-like decks, which prominently feature blue. While the deck IS predominantly instant-speed, having a ritual that produces a 2-3 mana a turn accelerates the speed of the deck exponentially. However, in those rare circumstances where it's not needed at all, you can toss it to Chrome Mox, Force of Vigor and to a lesser extent Gemstone Caverns.
to an even lesser degree and extremely rare circumstance, if you have Kenrith's Transformation and Cloudstone Curio on the field and carpet is your only enchantment, you can use the carpet as the bouncer to use kenrith as an outlet
If your meta doesn't run blue then feel free to replace it with another ramp card.

TheSeffMan: I have, actually! Thank you so much for reminding me of this card, I've been considering it for the budget version, but I couldn't recall its name.
Umm... I REALLY like it, I also love that opponents can proc it and that it could also hit lands, I just find it a little clunky tbh. :/
I'd be happy to test it out again and let you know, but I just don't see it being TOO good. We'll see, expect to see it in Budget ver most likely.

I noticed you are running Geier Reach Sanitarium have you thought about Mikokoro, Center of the Sea?
July 30, 2020 9:45 p.m.
King_marchesa: I have, but I have too many colorless Mana producing lands as it is and the discard is actually a Fail-Safe to get certain cards in my hand into the gy to be able to interact with them which is why I prefer the Geier Reach Sanitarium.
This also coming from someone who wants to run Bonders' Enclave.

Yeah I get that. Also I feel that this card has been overshadowed by Veil of Summer but Autumn's Veil is a really good budget version and could also be part of the non budget version because of the fact that green doesn’t have many responses.
July 31, 2020 1:17 p.m.
King_marchesa: Autumn's Veil is currently in the budget version and as much I would love to slot it in, it seems more superfluous than ever with the printing of Allosaurus Shepherd. However, I am actively always looking for a way to slot Autumn back in, so if I figure that out, you'll be the first to know! :)

Wow flashing in sheperd is such a flex version of Veil of Summer and it can't even be countered itself. Frick this is the best deck to abuse that card.

SynergyBuild: It has won me so many freaking games, I have lost count. That card was made for this deck, if you ask me lol.

You should search for decks in the EDH category by rank. You’ll see how popular decks have gotten. You can get your deck noticed by deck cycling and featuring it. Having a detailed description of how it works and a catchy name usually helps as well.
