Ecological Appreciation is a really strong tutor for this, surely? At 5 mana you threaten: Scryb Ranger , Quirion Ranger , any of your winning dorks (even Lotus Cobra ), stax and more. Is there enough redundancy to make piles for this card?
I doubt it's great as I can't see many immediate gains, but Yedora, Grave Gardener does give the benefit of protection from wraths while giving you cards that can be returned with your rangers, rather than having to be returned with e-wit. Just wanted to make these known
April 21, 2021 4:01 a.m.
CyborgAeon: Yedora, Grave Gardener is unfortunately too costly for a value/protection spell, especially when most of the hate I encounter is targeted and 5 mana for some synergy isn't really feasible.
As for Ecological Appreciation , it's really a worse Tooth and Nail and the opponents picking the piles makes assembling viable ones that much harder.
Just a heads up for those on the thread, you can stay up to date with the on-goings of the list, like the above-mentioned cards on the discord!
Here's what's being tested at the moment:

Don't you think that Magus of the Candelabra can be a better option than Hope Tender? Why not use it on the deck?
April 28, 2021 1:24 a.m.
Yoshness: It's 100% not. Magus Requires that the Land produce 3 mana. That means Gaea's Cradle or Priest of Titania need to produce 3 mana and Nykthos needs 5 devotion for Magus to go off with Ashaya and that's pretty much it. We don't have any sources that produce anymore. If you include Satyr, you have the Cradle. If you include the Elder, that goes infinite with Ashaya by itself. Outside of the combo it requires Cradle, Utopia Sprawl, Wild Growth, or Ancient Tomb in the interim to be used as ramp.
Hope Tender on the other hand requires that the land just taps for two to go infinite with Ashaya, which is something we can definitely work with in the form of:
- Joraga Treespeaker
- Priest of Titania
- Gaea's Cradle
- Nykthos (4 devotion)
- Utopia Sprawl
- Wild Growth
- Ancient Tomb (Near Infinite Colorless that can be filtered)
Outside of Ashaya it still goes off with traditional Temur/Kogla lines and a Cradle land. To add to its utility, it always goes positive, as we can always exert it early on for mana as we don't care about it unless we intend to win.
However, having to explain this in a comment falls on me for making changes before rolling out the update explaining these changes.

These are the incoming changes guys. Expect a fully fleshed out primer implementing all of these. Also, the Moxfield primer is just going to be a redirect to the T/O primer. (Sorry guys, keeping up with multiple primers is a giant pain in the ass and I got ton on my plate atm).
Eventually I'll re-port the whole updated primer back to Moxfield.

Ram Through has caught my eye now, thanks to you. It's a potential killing blow in my kamahl deck.
May 12, 2021 1:46 p.m.
Kamerot: Oh, most def. You already have a Trample provider in the CZ. You can even win at instant speed. ;)

I love Ram Through . I found it via Arena of all places

Love the deck and changes as always! What do you think of the Ashaya, Soul of the Wild + Quirion Ranger + Altar of the Brood combo line? It's pretty cheap and efficient.
May 17, 2021 10:06 a.m.
abby315: It unfortunately takes up a slot while doing nothing to forward our gameplan in the interim. The deck already has 3 very effective ways to win once we go infinite, but come join us in the discord so you can partake in the discussions and see how the community and I arrive at these changes. Once again, thank you for the support and the suggestion as always!

Hey I just recently watched the playing with power featuring yeva, was that you piloting the deck?
May 27, 2021 10:42 p.m.
Kamerot: No, that was Mike from PWP, he's in the Yeva Discord and he's a helluva a pilot.:)
May 28, 2021 1:03 a.m.
That's the first time I've seen the deck in action and I just have to say holy shit. It really does just explode.
May 28, 2021 1:09 a.m.
Ender666666: Shoe-in, it's an astronomically better Loaming Shaman . Stops Breach, Thassa, and Reanimator. Alwhile fortifying our Mill line.
Still VERY early to tell, but I'm looking at Shaman of Forgotten Ways as possible cut. We'll see tho, being deliberated on the server.
Kamerot: I'm so glad you liked it, buddy!!! From you this means the world :)
May 28, 2021 1:24 p.m.
I like the look of Endurance. I'm not sure what I would substitute for it on my end though.
Shaman of forgotten ways is an interesting choice to cut, is it purely because it's the same cmc; or with all the ashaya lines for ininite mana, is it just not needed?
May 28, 2021 2:28 p.m.
Kamerot: It's actually a combination of those. The deck now has Ram Through and the Mill Line with multiple ways of ensuring the combo land doesn't get stuck in hand while drawing out. Realistically, there are also no wins that beat us any more on the stack, since if it was Thassa's Oracle we can kill enough permanents to then reset their GY with Endurance or Noxious now. Walking Ballista can be stopped by Collector Ouphe on the stack.
It's not certain just yet, as Shaman really has been a fixture of this deck, and it being an infinite mana dork further cemented its position in the deck, so atm we're deliberating. The Storm Ooze is also being looked at as a 6-7 spell stack can amount to a 5 mana Craterhoof at instant speed.

This might just be another niche option, but given you have heartwood storyteller among other win cons, is it not better to use Bonders' Enclave (since yeva is a 4/4) or War Room over Mikokoro, Center of the Sea ?
While war room does cost life - drawing 20-30 cards should give you the cards to setup loops via e-wit & Kogla (or any other mass e-wit line), Nature's Claim and any rock. It might be too risky, but seems more pertinent than letting your opponents draw unless you've certified the win given you've got other very viable win conditions.
Although Mikokoro does let you just draw them out if they use thoracle...
June 1, 2021 6:30 a.m.
CyborgAeon: Heartwood isn't a wincon per se, as it's more of a Stax card that wins us the game if left unchecked.
War Room is often considered, but the density of colorless utility lands is a bit high already, and so far we haven't felt the need to include it just yet, especially in a Hullbreacher meta. The life paying was never a factor for it as we don't care too much about life. Bonder is strictly worse by having a requirement.

Mikokoro serves as a win con by milling opponents out while we use loops to keep refilling our deck.
June 1, 2021 10:38 a.m.
CyborgAeon: What Abzkaban said, plus it wins under Hullbreacher, by killing the breacher player.
June 1, 2021 10:41 a.m.
Is it safe to assume that you're going to toss in yavimaya, cradle of growth? Being able to tap those utility lands for green mana seems like an easy add.

You’re arguing for a T1 green source in a mono green deck. Think about that for a moment. This is not a reason to cut counterspell protection. Just don’t play Cavern T1 then?
