Hello Inkmoth
I was also a fan of Yeva. I think she is tier 1.5 CEDH above worthy! Even on casual table, it recovers fast after a mass destruction (flood mana, recast Yeva, and casts other stuffs (draw-go! LOL))
I have also been using Yeva past several years. But, 1-2 year ago I stopped using her because I wanna try new things.
Appreciate the list and love it so much, I think I will re-play Yeva by trying out your list.
Cheers~

WilliamZYW: I would be delighted to have you in the Discord so you can tell us about your background in Yeva, and how your future endeavors go with the list. Thank you very much for the kind words, they mean the world to me! :)

It's been a while since I commented on this deck. Not sure if I or others suggested this in the past, but Argothian Elder + Maze of Ith (during attack phase) = Infinite mana to be used at instant speed. Not sure if you can win from that point, nor do I fully understand the cEDH meta, but I thought it was worth mentioning. Even despite the fact that it doesn't produce mana, it can stop something like Tymna the Weaver from connecting. Also, I hope you're doing well. I saw the updates, nice job and explanations for additions/cuts, I agree with all of them.

I don’t know if the landbase can squeeze it in, but it’s not a bad idea. Being able to stop Tymna is a good point, but then Yeva does that on her own. Could stop Oakhame Adversary if that’s in your meta. It is worth noting that Yavimaya would allow it to tap for mana. Even if it doesn’t make the main list, I might have to try it out in my high power variant.

Hey guys, quick announcement for what's to be one of this decks' biggest change ever. Expect the list to reflect this change, but give me some time to tinker with the primer. So here goes, Marwyn has come to relieve Shaman of his duties.
- Wirewood Lodge target.
- Mini Seedborn with Symbiote.
- Goes off with Quirion line.
- 3 Pwr it goes off w/Scryb line.
- Goes off with Symbiote lines.
- 6 Pwr it goes off w/Hyrax lines.
- Can use Return as an outlet.
- Infinite P/T for Ram Through .
- Makes Priest better.
- Makes Selvala better.
- Mana can be used on anything.
- Yeva has all the cEDH generals.
- Bellower fetchable.
- Goes off with Quirion lines.
- Ramp for creatures.
- Closes a game.
Rip Shaman, it's been fun. Mom's home, and she really wants to play.

Not to throw a wrench in things, but how often does Elvish Spirit Guide make the difference in a game for you? I like it, but Shaman of Forgotten Ways frequently does for me, as a combo piece, as ramp, and as the way I most often win. I like the addition of Marwyn, the Nurturer, I've had a copy of it in my deckbox for a while ready to sub in but have yet to try it. I may try Marwyn in the Spirit Guide spot and keep Shaman in for now.

precociousapprentice: gonna copy and paste my write up for Tireless Provisioner as it should answer how Marwyn got Shaman's spot, and it also expands just HOW important Elvish Spirit Guide is.
Tireless Provisioner review:
Different topic, but Lotus Cobra's most remarkable trait is its ability to get you OUT of a Mana-Neutral Line (Ex. Glade/Beast+ Ashaya+ Quirion).
So typically, mana neutral lines let you draw with the purpose of one thing, finding Lotus and ESG. This line typically leaves you with NO mana in reserves. Now, lets see it in practice:
Glade/Beast + Quirion + Ashaya = Infinite Draw
Draw until you hit Lotus and ESG. With Quirion in hand you have 1 floating, ESG gets you 2, Cast Lotus, Landfall; 1 Floating, and then finally cast Quirion. This becomes Infinite Mana and Draw, so you keep drawing and getting one mana and card at a time until you hit something you can bounce Glade/Beast with.
Glade/Beast + Scryb + Mana dork producing 2 mana + Ashaya = Infinite Draw
Draw until you hit Lotus and ESG. With Scryb in hand you have 2 floating, ESG gets you 3, Cast Lotus, Landfall; 2 Floating, and then finally cast Scryb. This becomes Infinite Mana and Draw, so you keep drawing and getting one mana and card at a time until you hit something you can bounce Glade/Beast with.
For teaching purposes: The Mana Dork here can be replaced with Lotus Cobra itself. As Scryb Untap+Landfall is also mana neutral
Now. Try to do this with Tireless Provisioner instead of Lotus Cobra . They all need ONE more mana no matter what outside the line. So basically, to initiate any of the above lines, you need an EXTRA 1 MANA set aside on top of the necessary ESG.
To make matters worse, lets go back to the "Rule of 3". Provisioner has 3 cards that hurt it (Ouphe, Rod, and Maze), one of which is a Tutorable creature. It only has 1 line in the whole deck, and while Fetches were left to fortify Lotus (get us dryad as well), at 3 mana we stop seeing lands unless we got a bouncer.
All in all, Marwyn seems to be the best card for this slot taking Shaman place.

precociousapprentice: TBH, all the time. I love leaving myself in "mana-less" boardstates only to be holding a Crop and Elvish waiting to pop off. It turns into a Force of Will with Allosaurus shepherd or veil or an untap with a ranger. This card is actually super nutty and has yet to under perform ever. When it's drawn I immediately make it a prerogative to play towards it, as lulling my opponents into a false sense of safety is what this decks' all about.

Have you mentioned using Yedora, Grave Gardener ?
It return your dead creatures as recources to the BF
June 30, 2021 5:31 a.m.
Housegheist: It's been brought up before, but unfortunately it does very little to forward our gameplan and at 5 mana, it's really pricey for a protection/value piece in a format that aims to bounce creatures as the most prevalent form of interaction.

ObIviom Deck never needed it, but it was a fine option.
August 2, 2021 9:05 a.m.
ObIviom: What SynergyBuild said. The deck just needs to go infinite with an outlet and there's pretty much nothing we can't stop on the stack and then straight up win.

ObIviom: Yeeee, always wanted it and it's performed extraordinarily well too :)

Have you considered running Staff of Domination?
September 14, 2021 3:24 p.m.
Monomanamaniac: That's some Classic OG Yeva Draw-Grow stuff. It used to be in the list, but it's no longer needed and quite frankly it's terrible here. Sorcery speed, needs the mana dork to produce 5 mana, gets hit by Root Maze, Collector Ouphe, Null Rod, and now Thorn of Amethyst. We also have no way to tutor it.

The list has been much better since we have not needed Staff of Domination. It made this list a huge shift away from the Selvala lists. Making everything instant speed and tutorable changes the power completely.

precociousapprentice: Wow, this is a really really nice comment. Thank you for keeping up with is as long as you have. As sets come out the Discord and I are constantly assessing each slot relative to the current meta to make sure the list is as optimal as it can be.

I'm trying to understand Duskwatch Recruiter Flip...
- Regular = Mana sink - With infinite mana, you can get every creature from your deck and cast them at instant speed with your commander
- Flip = Cost reducer
Am I understanding the above correctly based on your description? Assuming yes, how has duskwatcher and his flipped counterpart been working for you? I would have never imagined to see it in a list like yours. What I'm getting at is, doesn't he feel unimpactful until you have infinite mana? Sure, the cost reducing is kind of nice, but is the potential mana sink and cost reducer really worth it? How often do you need cost reducing? How often do you consistently acquire infinite mana?

Oops. Didn't realize we could add the new cards yet. Well played.
