I saw the Yew Spirit's ability to double its power for 2GG and realized how terrifying that could be in pauper, especially with trample effects, mana ramp, and green boosts. Sadly I didn't have as many common trample effects as I'd like, but I think it's a powerful pauper deck when 16 commander damage is all that's needed to kill.
