This deck is the most fun of the 2016 commanders, with the highest learning curve. I made some tweaks and it is a blast to play. When things go well, though, there can be a lot of long faces at the table. Sorry, everyone had to discard their darlings --me too -- but my board is full to overflowing. One game went like this: turn 2 Waste Not , Turn 3 Windfall and with the Waste Not mana I was able to cast the mana rocks to cast Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder with about 6 zombies alongside. It did not get better for my opponents. Another game, Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge came out first and she cast Wheel of Fate , Volcanic Vision (amazing card in this deck) to wipe everyone else's board and finally my friend's Rite of Replication , kicked, so I had 6 Consuming Aberration s. That's a lot of milling into damage with Key to the City even ensuring one to go unblocked. Another great finisher in this deck is Ghastly Conscription . I like the double strike of Blood Mist for twice the cascading goodness. This deck is a blast to play! Now, I need to figure out which card comes out for Fireshrieker .
