Turn 2 Yidris, Disrupt and if left alone storm off and win with either Aetherflux reservoir or mind's desire. If the board state isn't conducive to you winning just find a way to get to 7 mana and either stall with Nicol bolas or reset the board with cyclonic rift plus some wheel effect. who knows you might profit if you resolved a waste not earlier. One avenue to victory is to show how much we don't care about lands by sacrificing all our lands to pick up all our mana rocks with Chain of Vapor to just then recast them into Aetherflux(or again into a higher storm count mind's desire).

We don't ever want to rely on counter spells but if we do they are daze, foil, and force of will. cards that are hard to cascade into and trip us up. Daze is probably the most valuable counterspell since the alternative cost is not too harsh and has synergy by giving us an alley-oop into foil. We will see these 3 counterspells along with REB and Pyroblast enough that Yidris can reliably and safely hit the field turn 2/3. Also when we draw them later(and we will especially if we've gone to storm count 30+) we can use them to further cascade and counter our own spells to push storm higher if everyone else at the table is irrelevant.

Don't like waiting around for the conclusion of a game to be decided by players with bad threat assessment?We also get under them and everyone with degenerate decks with carpet of flowers and the Blasts.
