Maybeboard

I've played Yidris on multiple occasions, it started out as a budget storm deck that worked for the most part but had no combo protection whatsoever. I shelved it for awhile because I was unhappy with it but then sunk some money into it and it worked great but I got tired of taking 30 minute turns every time I sat down to play. By then my meta had caught up to me and played more control and anti-storm pieces to insure I wouldnt win so I put it away and sold my rocks and built Najeela flashhulk. I enjoyed the quick combo deck but now that flash is banned I figured it was time to play storm once again.

The easiest way to win is Doomsday. 4 cards and Thassa's Oracle or Jace give you the win straight out. The other way to win is Aetherflux resovoir and yidris. Storm made easy by getting one point of combat damage through and you get 2 spells for the price of one.

Echo of Eons is the best budget replacement for time twister and I usually Entomb it as often as I can. It keeps the storm going when you need it most. Playing Yidris turn 3 usually means a storm win on turn 4.

Paradox engine getting banned really hurt the deck but Bolas's citadel isnt a bad replacement. It's fairly similar to ad nauseam but you're casting the spells instead of drawing. You can fizzle out but I try to keep shufflers open and try to hold out as long as I can before I play my land for the turn I try to win. The deck pilots itself for the most part, but every now and then you have to know the appropriate time to wheel or not to wheel.

The cards in my maybeboard will eventually be in the deck, it's just a budget issue for the time being.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
