Yidris slinging a pile of spells, with a touch of storm in the chaos.

My first attempt at a Yidris deck focused on abusing his ability via multiple combat steps or double strike. But most of my commander decks already win from combat damage and I wanted something different. My second approach went really competitive-storm, using the Doomsday + Laboratory Maniac combo but it just wasn't my style and I didn't enjoy playing it.

I then turned this into a spell slinger-style deck with a touch of storm elements to it. It was mildly fun but then I built a sweet Kykar spellslinger deck and never looked back at Yidris.
