Cool List

Nice list. Your deck might enjoy running Dragon Breath as it's free haste and fire-breathing for your commander. If I were you I'd also run Terminate over Doom Blade. Crux of Fate also goes pretty well given your commander is a dragon which would probably hit more of your opponent's creatures than Languish. Commander's Sphere is good but Dragon's Hoard would work better since you could draw more cards with it without losing the mana rock to do so. Grasp of Fate is another good card that you could replace Banishing Light with. You should also replace Cruel Edict with Diabolic Edict as that card can be played at instant speed.

StopShot, thanks for the suggestions! Dragon's Hoard is definitely going in my test brew as soon as I get it. Diabolic Edict is replacing Cruel Edict in the deck list as soon as I get back to a computer because that was a mistake on my part! Languish is likely staying in because it's main purpose is hitting indestructible boards filled with weenies, though crux may find a spot elsewhere in the deck. I'll be testing Grasp of Fate soon since I already have one, but the only thing that I am concerned about is the two white instead of one. One of the core tenants I held myself to when designing this was 'If their deck wins on turn three, yours needs answers turn two.' Keeping in line with that, I'm simply concerned about how consistantly I can get two white and one anything by turn two. I can usually get one white and two anything.

@girlyvader If you're having troubles with consistency in your mana-base there are ways too improve it, however it's not always cheap to do so. Having all 3 OG dual lands and shock lands help out a lot, but to complete the package you'll definitely want to include the other 5 fetch-lands: Flooded Strand, Polluted Delta, Scalding Tarn, Windswept Heath and Wooded Foothills, as these can all search for your dual lands and provide greater consistency.

That said they are still rather expensive, but there are some cheaper inclusions that I would argue fit in just as well. Those cards being the match-lands: Isolated Chapel, Dragonskull Summit, and Clifftop Retreat as well as the filter lands: Graven Cairns, Fetid Heath, and Rugged Prairie. These lands are much cheaper and have done an excellent job color fixing my deck as well as reliably entering untapped. Furthermore Ash Barrens plays excellently with getting colored mana the turn you need it and Path of Ancestry while meant to be used in tribal decks reads exactly like a second Nomad Outpost that occasionally might let you scry off your commander. Both those two lands will greatly improve your access to colored mana.

Lastly if indestructible weenies are giving you grief I'd recommend in adding Slaughter the Strong. It won't remove all the creatures but it will remove armies and big creatures as well as by-pass indestructible as this wipe forces the creatures to be sacrificed. Toxic Deluge can also work in the same manner as well.

I normally run into all kinds of problematic situations in the various play-groups I've played in, so if something is giving you problems I might know of a few good solutions for it.

StopShot I don't play this in a set group, so I need answers to anything I may reasonably expect to see. Deck edited with your suggestions: I already own the full set of shock/fetch/og-duals, so I just swapped them in.

Some thoughts:

Not having Sunforger in any Mardu deck should be a crime. This also allows for more hateful answers like Utter End and Anguished Unmaking. I'd probably cut the discard spells since you're only running three and they get exponentially worse over time. You could also run Chaos Warp and/or Oblation.

You can't get it with Sunforger, but Vindicate also works well: that's a nice permanent you have over there. It would be a shame if something were to happen to it.

Scalelord Reckoner also helps make the person you hate sad.

A deathtouch effect like Basilisk Collar makes connecting with Oros hilarious. Running Stuffy Doll is also a thought. You could also try Repercussion since you're light on creatures.

Hope this helps :)
