True, used to run one but I tend like my 1 and 2 drops. This deck works quite well without him. The way I figured it, if I have 6 mana to play the Sun Titan , I should be winning right nicely already, not always but mostly, and would therefore not need him.

Yeah Lead the Stampede is quite beastly with many 1 and 2 drops.

I actually just put up a G/W Human deck myself...The Human Tribe. I'm going to try it this FNM and see how it does. Take a look and feel free to comment. I was thinking of using the Skinshifter and the Adaptive Automaton myself, but decided I wanted some late game finishes with Gideon Jura and Sun Titan .

Yeah gideon is great and so is elspeth, but I like to end the game early on. Ive had 5 turn wins at times. Skinshifter is amazing. Used to run 4 but had to cut them out.

When the Skinshifter is changed, and then returns to normal, does that up the Champion of the Parish again?
And to have to a little control, maybe mainboard a couple Oblivion Ring s instead of sideboarding them..??? Maybe for a Mirran Crusader and an Adaptive Automaton ?

Oh, have you thought of Lead the Stampede since you're running only creatures? To speed it up more, haha.

Good question but im pretty sure it doesn't since its on the battlefield. As for the o rings...great card but id rather have the creatures lol.

I can tell, haha. But what about the Lead the Stampede then?

SkyeLachlan says... #13
yeah lol im forever getting land screwed with my 22 lands and everytime i drew the stampede i only have like 5 lands up. by time i played it i would already have a shit ton of creatures out.

TheDarkOak says... #14
Yeah, good point. What if you increased your land count though and played it with the intention of using Lead the Stampede . You could have a better late game, without sacrificing your early game too much. 2 Gavony Township might make it worth it to run more land. When I start to top deck I can usually fall back on Gavony. 8D

not yet, working on getting at least two before next FNM, but i seem to be fine without it. I want 3 more Razorverge Thicket as well.

Ran mentor and i dont like him lol. deck is centered around mayror and automatons lol. +1/+1 like crazy
January 7, 2012 6:23 a.m.
Also, take out bonehoard completely, you don't need it. Instead put in mentor, mikaeus, or even the Shrine of Loyal Legions . Btw when you have time, tell me what you think of my standard deck, Damnation and a Day

bonehoard has saved my ass quite a bit, 2 of my wins last night were because of that card, nothing wrong with a 4 drop 12/12 dude right after you get the day of judgement put on ya lol
