Honestly at 5 mana i'm not a fan of Thoughtflare and I would rather run any of these, Night's Whisper , Sign in Blood , Read the Bones , and then not for draw Spell Snare , and Shadow of Doubt in the sideboard. Just don't take out sowing salt!!

I like Thoughtflare at the end of your opponent's turn after he hasn't cast anything to counter, so you can refill your hand.

Do you like Ancestral Vision it seems solid to me for draw first turn suspend.

I dont know, late game it wouldn't be very good. I probably wouldn't run enough of them to have one first turn every game anyway. I'm not going to be able to get 4x Cryptic Command and I think Discombobulate is the best substitute I can find.

I guess Rewind is a ok substitute because it is four and counters a spell and lets you do something else too.

That's true, I've been playtesting Discombobulate and it kinda sucks. quesobueno or batman, have any rewinds?

Taking a poll, which is better?: Nihil Spellbomb or Rakdos Charm ? The spellbomb is way better for graveyard-hate, but the charm can be useful in more situations with three different abilities. I'm going to have to put my vote on the spellbomb, but I would love to hear what other people think too.

Hey, A buddy of yours asked me if I could give you some constructive criticism on this deck. I would love to help out. ok, so here it goes:

The reprints of the onslaught fetches will be a godsend for grixis decks, and they will make us considerably more effective. Here is what I think: with more on color fetches, you should run a few more basics, at least enough to cast a Cruel Ultimatum after an opponent drops a Blood Moon . I personally run Talisman of Dominance and Chromatic Lantern as both mana fixing and ramp. Other than that, the biggest advice I can give is to upgrade some of your removal and maybe add some more draw power. Damnation is significantly better than Consume the Meek if it is in your budget, and I think you will come to like Mulldrifter better than Think Twice because your can retrieve it from the yard with Cruel Ultimatum . A lot of people disagree with me on this last one, but I also run Gatekeeper of Malakir . It is a removal spell attached to a creature, and I have found it to be great against decks like zoo, hate bears, pod (melira and kiki), and any other creature based decks. I hope my advice helps, and I know some of them aren't great budget considerations (like Damnation ), but I think they ill serve you well.
