Agent of Treachery is gone...as well as Fires of Invention, yay!
Its time to bring back this deck that popularized by saffronOlive from against the odds series. This time, they will be accompanied by Yorion, Sky Nomad and 20 more supportive spells to make this deck more effective. While most of the spells are still the same, I added more spells to increase the efficiency of this deck. Also, Yorion as a companion didn't affected on this new companion rule...we will just ramp it anyway even it will cost 8 mana in total.

Of course, I will not gonna beat the dead horse to discuss those cards like Teferi, Tamiyo, Narset and among others but I would rather discuss the remaining spells that I added in this deck. For the new magic players, I would recommend clicking the cards on the list above.
-
Yorion, Sky Nomad - as a companion, it helps me find more answers to certain matchups to achieve our "Happily Ever After". Since there's a lot of ETB effects in this deck, I will take advantage of it giving us more card advantage and dig more answers to certain matchups. More to be discussed below.
-
Shatter the Sky - those cards were in the sideboards when saffronOlive made this deck but with an additional 20 card slots in the pool, I added these boardwipes. We need to answer aggro decks which is one of the problems of this deck.
-
Elspeth Conquers Death - this is another stable Bant card that greatly benefits this deck. A removal to annoying permanents like Teferi greatly helps you survive while building your combo...the tax is also helpful.
-
Shark Typhoon - why not? since we generate a lot of mana and this deck a lot of big spells, we can generate a lot of big sharks to help you defend against aggro and midrange decks.
-
Sphinx of the Guildpact - our flexible alternate condition to win in this deck. It shares all colors, it satisfies two of the six conditions of Happily Ever After which is artifact and creature, it has hexproof from almost all removals of this current standard...except Teferi, Time Raveler, dang Teferi and a potential game ender.
-
NEW: Teferi, Master of Time - one of the newest addition of this deck that loots our combo pieces and also phases annoying creatures...Also, its easier to ultimate him thanks to Planewide Celebration's proliferate 4x.
-
NEW: Solemn Simulacrum and Cultivate - very good ramp spells with an additional draw a card. Also, "Sad Robot" helps you to meet two of the six conditions of Happily Ever After which is artifact and creature.
-
Special Mention: Warrant / Warden - with mutate spawning in our local metagame, it really hurts to bring them back on the top of their library slowing their tempo. The 4/4 sphinx is always a bonus blocker or a potential game ender. Also, it already satisfies two out of six conditions met by Happily Ever After which is instant and sorcery.
The sideboards: VERY SOON as we found out the metadecks upon release.
You guys noticed that I talked about card advantage too much in this deck tech? Yorion gives us wider and bigger card pool that reduces our probability to draw the cards that we needed. That's why I put a balanced number of card draws to find those answers.
As always, feel free to post your comments, suggestions and constructive criticisms to improve this deck. I will also try my best to post my FNM results here for more references. ENJOY!
