@MagnorCriol: I believe it was Rhadamanthus that wrote an article that made me want to build this deck. I've been making adjustments to it ever since. I used to play my green Vorinclex EDH deck but this one has taken its place as my favorite deck. I'll have to see about Akroma, Angel of Fury .

Nice. This is a lot more aggro than how my take on the deck turned out, and I really like that. I highly recommend Homura, Human Ascendant if you can find one. He would also be a really cool alternative Commander for your deck if you want to have a backup.

I'm thinking of adding the two or three of the red level-up creatures from Rise of the Eldrazi. There are a few times when I have lacked playable cards but had plenty of mana to spend.
@Rhadamanthus: I like Homura because as a general, he may not get blocked a lot due to his awesome flip ability. I may sideboard a bunch of global damage effects so I can have the appropriate ways to kill him and/or smaller creatures to force them to use larger creatures to block. Thanks.

Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs can get ya some tokens. Maybe a card:General's Kabuto to protect Fumiko.

@jedtothemax: I already have a Kazuul but I like the idea of card:General's Kabuto. I'll see if I can squeeze it in. Thank you.

Mindslaver ? It might seem a little jank at first, but consider the implications of not only forcing his creatures to attack with Fumiko, but also choosing who they attack. This would be very useful for eliminating a threat player. This might sound like a crappy Insurrection at first, but keep in mind that you could not only prevent them from playing board threats that turn, but also empty their hand of spot removal and even remove their board presence if they have a sac outlet. I feel that Mindslaver does not get enough EDH attention, especially in this kind of deck.

i like this deck a lot, the name of this deck sounds like a line from the movie serenity, I'm not sure though, probably not. anyway, i like this deck and think you chose a really cool commander. i don't have much else to say that hasn't already been said. +1

@neverright: You are spot on with the quote from Serenity. It's something that Mr. Universe says to Mal after he shows him the video of River going insane in the bar. It seemed to fit the theme of the deck and thanks for the +1.

Your two cards over the limit :/ Commander doesn't go in the deck, and the deck without the commander is 99 cards

The commander does go in the deck; it's 100 cards including the commander.
He's still 1 over, though, yeah.

It goes in the deck, but is removed before the game begins and is placed in the command zone.

Since you're doing a mono-red run, I don't normally suggest things from my EDH deck (not when I prefer Akroma, Angel of Fury) but Strata Scythe is outstanding in mono-color decks. Especially for General damage/kills.

@ResurrectedSage: I had Akroma, Angel of Fury in the deck for a long time but I noticed that every time I drew her, I would think that I wanted something else besides her. Maybe I'll get in a situation and think that I could really use an Akroma. Also, I like the idea of Strata Scythe. I'll see what I can do to fit it in. Thanks for the comment.

You're welcome. It scares the crap out of my play group when I put it on Akroma, Angel of Fury since she's my general. Fumiko rocks too, so I won't suggest a general change lol. But I was also suggested Sculpting Steel to enable a second Strata Scythe if it ever happened. Hasn't yet but double the beatdown always enticed me!

- Platinum Emperion so they can attack you all day long while you just laugh.
- I like Rage Reflection over Avatar of Slaughter because it only helps you.
- Vow of Lightning because there are some creatures you would really like to have swinging at someone else.
- Chaos Warp to take get rid of pesky generals.

@Kirtanian: I added Platinum Emperion and Rage Reflection. I'll have to think about the other two. Thanks for the suggestions.

I always liked Ashling the Pilgrim. She gets bigger and bigger, and when you're ready, pop! I second any suggestion of Chaos Warp. One card I think is ripe with hijinkery with Fumiko is Soul's Fire.

A nice one drop is Dragonmaster Outcast since he creates powerful tokens, for a low cost.

I love Fumiko decks. Probably going to try and build one myself sometime.
Is Akroma, Angel of Fury really pulling her weight for you here? I've never found her to be worth the slot, as awesome an idea as she is. But then, I don't have a huge sample size to base that on.
Also, Rhadamanthus has a Fumiko deck that's pretty baller. Maybe check out his and see what you like there.
