Reanimate doesn't give my opponent a choice =D
That's a sick turn 2 for another deck though =D

Well, I suppose it does when Vexing Devil comes back into play.
May 7, 2012 8:26 a.m.
i think it gives them 2 choices :P if you play Vexing Devil the same turn and they take 4 :P You have Lightning Bolt in there that isnt a choice just saying i think Reanimate would be good hahaha
May 7, 2012 11:17 a.m.
Yeaaaa. I know I'm being a hypocrite by putting Lightning Bolt in there, but it's to make sure the game doesn't stall for too long. It makes it less fun when both sides are just waiting for me to top deck a creature to end the game.
I'll surely consider and play test with Reanimate though. Thx for the input =D

Ooohhh! Haven't seen that one before. I like the potential of Dark Ritual into Ogre Marauder turn 1. I'll test him out for sure. Thx for the input =D

when i was getting the cards for this deck at my local game store i found this Longhorn Firebeast not great but they didnt have Prowling Pangolin
May 8, 2012 8:24 p.m.
Haven't seen that one. I think Prowling Pangolin is the better pick for this deck setup, but good find none the less =D

i tested this deck out for real. Major problem with it is ppl just out creature you. you dont have enough creatures in this deck.
May 10, 2012 12:21 a.m.
hmmmmm. Breaking Point and Killing Wave should deal with the opponent's creatures, as well as Blazing Salvo. I know it's all situational though, as it's the nature of the deck. Lethal Vapors from the sideboard should help as well. What kinds of creature decks were you up against?
Shivan Wumpus is another creature that sticks with the theme.
Lightning Bolts should also be saved to kill off the opponent unless you're gonna die of course.
The deck definitely has it's weaknesses, so I wouldn't expect it to compete with high end decks.
May 10, 2012 1:25 a.m.
i dont know most of the time i wasnt dealing enough damage to them to take the Breaking Point wrath. They ramped faster thats what i think is the problem, but this deck was still a ton of fun and laughs, and works much better 1v1.
May 10, 2012 2:09 a.m.
Oh! Yea, this deck was designed primarily for 1v1's. Anymore then 1 opponent would have the deck hard pressed for sure. That makes more since =D
I'm glad you enjoy the deck! I wish you're opponent poor choices on the battlefield!

this deck is amazing, may i suggest using something like Djinn Illuminatus for copying evilness and/or Burning Wish to get more win cons or horrible cards :-)
May 11, 2012 4:13 a.m.
THIS DECK IS AWESOME! I just play tested:
Turn 1: Blackcleave Cliffs for 2 Dark Ritual to cast Prowling Pangolin.
Turn 2: Another Blackcleave Cliffs for a Vexing Devil and, then I cast Blazing Salvo.
Insane!

@compgurusteve They're so expensive XD! However, they are definitely an upgrade =D
@maiden77 I feel Djinn Illuminatus is a bit too late game for this deck.
If I didn't make a side board(which I usually don't), I'd throw in Burning Wish as it's a really funny card. For another deck however, we shall see!
Thx for all of the positive feedback and suggestions peeps! It definitely makes me want to make more unique decks like this one =D

Price of Progress would also be good as a win-con instead of just bolt. The need for your opponent to be at an acceptable health on turn 5 is crucial. Since it's legacy you'll hardly ever see a deck not running non-basics.

Since it's legacy you'll hardly ever see a deck not running non-basics. Didn't get a lot of testing in tonight so I'll see if I can get some in tomorrow. The people who've seen it so far though loled their arses off.

I think Price of Progress would end up killing me since the deck has 12 non-basic lands.
My play group also doesn't use too many non-basics, but I could see other players using it for sure =D

Please take a look at my reanimator if you get the chance! I'm hoping to possibly play it at GP Minneapolis next weekend so all Comments and or +1's are greatly appreciated. My deck name is SHENANIGANS! >:D

I like it, +1 from me.
Kind of a "choose your poison" deck.
