Goblin GameMTG Card: Goblin Game? Can't say that I have. I think the mana cost is a bit too rich for my blood. It's a hilarious card though =D

I love Do or DieMTG Card: Do or Die. Not quite on the lines of the rest of the deck but it does provide a choice.

Like what you've done with the deck. I run this deck, without the recent changes. Here's another card for you Dwarven DrillerMTG Card: Dwarven Driller, Dwarven ScorcherMTG Card: Dwarven Scorcher, Heart of BogardanMTG Card: Heart of Bogardan (your choice), Nakaya ShadeMTG Card: Nakaya Shade, Ogre MarauderMTG Card: Ogre Marauder, Rhystic SyphonMTG Card: Rhystic Syphon, Tainted SpecterMTG Card: Tainted Specter, Unnatural HungerMTG Card: Unnatural Hunger

Hope some of this helps! We may have enough cards for an EDH deck... who'd be the general?

I'm back from a bad case of diablo-idus =D

@ DaBeast I'd call Do or Die a choice card in my book. I love the mana cost on it. I'm really gonna try to fit it in the deck somehow =D

@ Thatdudeabides Fantastic finds good sir! I haven't seen most of these. Not an expert at EDH, but feel free to take a look at the maybeboard as a reference to many choice cards I've come across if you'd be up to the challenge =D

Longhorn Firebeast and Book Burning come to mind the latter being marignally less useful in your deck. I ran a choice deck back in odyssey. my biggest problem back then is everyone would take the life early on to get their threats out. then I would stall out by the time they had board control. Could be fun to try again.

Doesn't fit the colors, or really do much for your deck (other than hose reanimators) but for your maybe board?? Grip of Amnesia

Yep, I've been using the maybe board for any choice cards that didn't make my personal cut. Since searching for these kind of cards is a bit tricky, I figured it would be helpful if someone else wanted to make a similar deck.

You should use Goblin Game .

Horribly confusing and gives them a choice in their demise.

Why do I love this deck so much!?

Hahaha! Goblin Game is very cute and though I don't think it's gonna make my personal cut, I'll surely throw it in the maybe board to show people it exists =D

This type of deck is really fun to make. I just spent a day or so putting together another version of it, as Mono-Red (Multiple Choice). I wish I had seen your list of Maybeboard cards beforehand - that would have helped out a whole bunch. I like the brutality of the cards you play (Choice of Damnations especially), but hesitate at the high mana costs. card:Mages' Contest and Flaming Gambit are two more for the list. My personal favorite is triggering Pyromancer Ascension , casting Breaking Point , and then Flaming Gambit after they decide 12 damage isn't worth all their creatures.

Great finds AnCarver! card:Mages' Contest is very unique especially. They'll be added to the list for sure. =D

lol mages contest is pretty hilarious

Shivan Wumpus would fit the theme, though nobody likes to play against land destruction.

Kasseem says... #15

I had Shivan Wumpus in the "beta" version of the deck and though it was great getting it out early with Dark Ritual , it usually came late enough for the opponent to deal with it. Then he just becomes your next draw when he rarely wins the game alone =(

That's not to say he can't be used in a similar deck. He'll be in the maybeboard for other peeps to check out if they want to make a similar deck with different options =D

It's an amazing decklist! I just loved it xD bad it's sooo expensive!...

Kasseem says... #17

I'm glad you like it =D If you're worried about the cost, most of it is the dual lands and Vexing Devil . The dual lands can be replaced by less pricy versions that produce the same mana.

Vexing Devil would be a bit painful not to have, but there's tons of options. Ogre Marauder , Shivan Wumpus and Flailing Soldier to name a few, are good subs that are very inexpensive.

I'm using the maybeboard as a list of cards that didn't make my cut for peeps to look at in case they want to make a similar deck with different options =D

Mouhahahaha so evil. I did a similar deck a couple of years ago. It never really worked but it was hilarious to play with and against. I never got it to be actually good though. Seems this version works :)

Askani28 says... #19

Suggestion: The Hit part of Hit/Run can be very funny - and even a win con in some situations. Its a really painful choice when all you have are big creatures or big artifacts. Combined with other sacrificial stuff like Killing Wave , Consuming Vapors , Tribute to Hunger or even card:Geth's Verdict, there's a big chance the Hit might do some real damage.

Considered Curse of the Cabal ?

+1 Btw :')

August 16, 2012 3:12 p.m.

Kasseem says... #21

@ Askani28 I feel the sac effect spells like card:Geth's Verdict, Tribute to Hunger , etc. aren't really choice cards. It's like having Glissa, the Traitor attack with the opponent at 3 or less and you have 2 1/1's to block with. Sure you get to choose which one chump blocks, but there's not another option other then blocking. Much like there's not another option except saccing a dude.

@ user:Moolet Tried it when 1st making the deck. It was cute, but overall didn't do enough for the cost 90% of the time.

Thx for the +1's and feedback peeps! You guys are awesome =D

what turn does this deck normally win on in a good hand? nice concept!

Found a new one: Perplex

August 28, 2012 3:22 p.m.

Kasseem says... #24

@m12fox - Mmmmmm, maybe turn 4 until the opponent scoops if it's a good hand. The average is 5-10 turns depending on what chooses they make, but it's usually inevitable until they scoop. I'm glad you like it =D

@AnCarver - Very nice find. I'll add it to the list =D
