Have you considered Mindcrank ? With all that life loss it would work wonderfully and it also combos nicely with Bloodchief Ascension .

Well, without getting it reliably it wouldn't help much. It would basically just take longer to kill them.

I absolutely love this deck idea and I'd love to try it out if I weren't on a budget at the moment (though this deck does seem relatively cheap.)
