Dude I like it. Unique take on control. I bet you are the most annoying guy at the table lol.

JonathanSamurai, thanks dude! I'm quite proud of it too. I actually don't usually play much in control, but this is my darling exception :) I strive to show good sportsmanship, but when I play something like this, even the daintiest of dames turn into the saltiest of sailors :D thanks again, man. And have a splendid day!

I did a quick playtest with this deck, and I have to say... it's evil. With every card I drew I thought to myself, "That would mess someones day up." "Oh would you look at that. More day messing." :P Great deck idea!

AnexRev216, thanks man! I'll take that as the greatest seal of approval :) may you have a splendid day!

Deglamer and Unravel the Aether get around indestructibility. Krosan Grip prevents counters, redirects, protection and hexproofs at instant speed.

MattStar, thank you so much for the imput :) I have Splinter to take care of indestructibility :) but krosan grip might make a very nifty addition :) thanks, dude! May you have a splendid day!

A buddy of mine ran a deck like this, I would run Ancient Grudge over Smelt. Double the value. Also consider Tuktuk Scrapper and/or Viridian Shaman (instead of Reclamation Sage)

Dude, AceGambitDragonfly! Thanks for the suggestions! I had never considered ancient grudge! This deck used to be monoR. By now, smelt is in here just for sentimental reasons ;) Tuktuk is cool, but since I don't really run many other allies, I feel his payoff is a little low for the casting cost. I like the sage better than the shaman, because the sage also handles enchantments, without the aid of liquimetal coating. That 1 extra toughness of the shaman doesn't weight so heavily in my book :) but really, thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely be considering ancient grudge. Have an awesome day!

Hey i made a try to build a deck like this cause i liked your deck, but i splashed blue for some cards. I would appreciate if you would look at the deck and maybe upvote it :D

If your going to turn everything into an artifact you might as well mess with the owner.

Dangerwillrobinson79, other than being able to reacquire Mycosynth Lattice or a Liquimetal Coating were they to be removed, Goblin Welder would only be situationally useful in this deck I think. The permanents turned into artifacts and destroyed cease to be artifacts once they hit the graveyard, meaning that Goblin Welder would only have valid targets for your opponent if he/she had any true artifacts in their graveyard. Mycosynth Lattice simply makes cards not in play colorless, not specifically artifacts.

Dangerwillrobinson79, thank you for the suggestion, I really appreciate it, but as AceGambitDragonfly says, Goblin welder won't have as much to do, as one might think. Whilst I'm pretty sure, that using liquimetal coating will have the card remain an artifact until end of turn, in graveyard or not, it will only be so until end of turn, and I cant target things in graveyards, since they are no longer permanents. and he's rigth about the Lattice. So yeah, not as useful as I'd like him to be :) But I really did like the idea. Stay frosty, both of you!

Liquimetal Coating only affects the permanent. Once the card is in the graveyard, it's no longer a permanent but a permanent card (same with cards in your hand). So goblin welder wouldn't even work with that.

That's correct MohenjoDaro, though giving this line of thinking some more thought, the permanent enters the graveyard as an artifact (and immediately ceases to be one), making Magnetic Mine a pretty solid choice for this deck.

Oh damn! AceGambitDragonfly, that is amazing! But, fuck! What to cut?

AceGambitDragonfly Yep, that would be a pretty amusing combo. Didn't even know about that card, might need to get a few when I make an anti-artifact deck.

I would drop 2 Caustic Caterpillars, 1 Reclamation Sage since those are 1 time uses (for the most part). That would give you 3 Magnetic Mine.

Tough call. If it were me trying to make room for Magnetic Mine in here, I'd cut a Splinter, they're high value, but you have repeatable removal of artifacts, do you really need 3 copies of Splinter?

apxl, yup, it used to be monoR, but I thought the deck could use drawpower, lifegain, enchantment removal, and a sick remove from the game all the lands you haven't played yet-combo. Thanks! It makes me so happy to hear people outright say that they wanna battle me!
