You lost. Let's play a-Ghen.

Commander / EDH* RBW (Mardu)

Maybeboard

This deck is a Ghen, Arcanum Weaver deck built around curses! The deck has a good amount of card draw in the form of scavenge effects such as Faithless Looting in order to get the necessary enchantments in our graveyard so we can cheat them out later for 3 mana. A big weak point of this deck, which I think is important to note, is how reliant it is on the commander. Ghen is a big part of recycling enchantments / getting the good ones out of the graveyard. Because of this, we often times don't want to play Ghen in the first place unless there is actually something to get out of the graveyard / unless we have protection for him. There is Hall of Heliod's Generosity just in case, however. This also means that the targets for Final Parting or other tutors will often be Lightning Greaves and a combo card such as Curse of Misfortunes

High Value Cards:

Sunbird's Invocation - essentially gives the deck cascade

Oriq Loremage - a free enchantment tutor every turn? yes please

Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist - Curses are auras. This guy allows us to move those around!

Fires of Invention - it may not seem good at first, but this card has its place in both early game, and late game. It also keeps mana open for Ghen

Removal:

While there are a lot of mardu removal staples, here are some of the really good ones:

Haphazard Bombardment - In a multiplayer game, there are often multiple scary permanents. After 4 turns, it turns into the no-brainer enchantment to sac.

Oblivion Ring - Ghen allows for the oblivion ring trick. If you don't know what I'm talking about, google it.

Phyrexian Scriptures - A REPEATABLE BOARD WIPE WHILE BUFFING AND KEEPING YOUR COMMANDER.

Card draw:

I mentions earlier our scavenge effects. There are also some good enchantments for Ghen:

Treacherous Blessing

Demonic Pact

Gravebreaker Lamia - For when there are not really any other good targets (unlikely)

Wincons:

Havoc Festival + Wound Reflection - a generally very fragile combo, however ghen is there to protect it in case one of the pieces get removed.

Curse of Misfortunes - bring out Curse of Exhaustion, Overwhelming Splendor, Curse of Death's Hold, then finally Curse of Thirst.
