Ok, so this is a modified version of my other deck Everything resonates!. This version is more control oriented because I had big problems against good aggro deck at the Standard night at my local shop. Had to find a way to deal with pesky little critters long enough to settle in and lay the hammer down.

My Sideboard :

Mizzium Mortars to be swapped with Chained to the Rocks against token or wheenie decks.

Blind Obedience to be swapped with Imposing Sovereign if facing an aggro deck with lots of creature removal. Or just added in place of Strionic Resonator vs wheenie / aggro to survive long enough to wipe the board.

Fiendslayer Paladin to be swapped for Boros Reckoner VS annoying black and/or red deck with lots of removal.

Pithing Needle The ever wonderful needle, perfect for control deck to lock down their AEtherling and planewalkers.

Celestial Flare Helps with those annoying Blood Baron of Vizkopa, on top of the Mizzium Mortars you will have enough removal for him.

Glare of Heresy To get rid of opposing Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Assemble the Legion, chianed to the rocks, Detention Sphere, etc.

Skullcrack for those Sphinx's Revelation or selesnaya life gain deck.

The past 2 week have been good. Made some change to the deck and last week was my best one so far. Ended up 3-1 in the Standard night, losing only to a G/R creature heavy deck. The only reason he got it is because he sided in 2x Destructive Revelry and 2x Ruric Thar, the Unbowed. I chained his first Ruric Thar, the Unbowed, eating the 6 damage, but he destroyed it with Destructive Revelry and I was too low HP to do anything after that with 2 Kalonian Hrydra coming my way.

But beside that last match-up it was a good night, won against a Orzhov controlish, a Selesnaya beater and something else I don't remember because I trampled him badly. Oh yeah it was a black/green/red deck that was badly build on mana and couldn't do anything fast enough to avoid the beatdown.

Tomorrow night is yet another test, I will try and see what is my weakest spot. I want to add some white/blue scryland or shockland untill BotG come out to try and get my frostburn wierd out earlier and also have mana to pump them up. Happened a few time I couldn't use it to kill a creature because i only had 2 mountain and 4 plains out. Will see how it goes!
