This is a deck made as a challenge with Balaam__ to make our own versions of Splintering Wind and see how they turn out!

Mana: Not used to the legacy manabase, so i just threw in a bunch of duals and fetches and hope it works out. Birds of paradise is ramp as well as mana fixing.

The strategy: the most important card in the deck is splintering wind. Activating it as much as possible is essential, so I stuck opalescence in with Training Grounds to make the wind cost just a single mana to activate. Normally, you don’t want splintering wind’s tokens to blow up because it board wipes us, but we want it to blow up. But we want all of that damage to be redirected to opal-eye, so that way nothing else gets blown up. However, we have to do that for every single splinter token. We have Kiora's Follower and thousand year elixir to hopefully get enough untaps to have opal eye bring in all the damage. We have Selfless Savior Now you might ask “what’s the point of spending so much cards and mana to redirect to a single creature?” The answer to that is the card from doctor who universes beyond, Donna Noble. Just pair her up with opal eye, and watch the damage flow.

Other stuff: I tossed in a pair of swords’s and Spell Pierces for a little bit of interaction.
