I don't get Herald of Anafenza, High Sentinels, or Zurgo in here. Why aren't there any Bloodsoaked Champion?

Ok Jayfeather I did some subs and got this.

Should I change Despise to Thoughtseize? Money-wise it's very bad, but functionality-wise it's good.

Also I need sideboard options.

I'm not feeling the Mardu Ascendancy.. With only 16 creatures you're not going to be getting to many triggers. I'd replace them with Crackling Doom. 3 Mana to kill the biggest threat is a pretty good! Otherwise I like the changes you've made.

tooTimid Ok, was looking for a way to get Crackling Doom in anyways. Will sub and try and do some playtests on Cockatrice with random people. Or maybe you wanna test?

Want to? I'm on right now?

HolyFalcon says... #8

Sure. Lemme load up Cockatrice and I'll Skype. Will have to install, being on Windows 8. So give me 5-10 mins.

tooTimid Can't anymore. Went down to ask my dad for admin password and he thought I was asleep. But tomorrow I'll be able to test it.

with all of the creature/token production, Purphoros, God of the Forge should really be a part of this deck. it is a great alternative win-con if you find yourself up against opponents with solid defenses.

alchemist4533 thought about him. What do you think I should take out, and how many should I put in?

You could probably do -1 Monastery Swiftspear and -1 Deflecting Palm for +2 Chained to the Rocks. I feel that Chained to the Rocks is more important than either one of those.

HolyFalcon says... #14

Yeah, and I am running 4 of each of those anyways.

I'd like to play my Mardu Aggro against this just to see what would happen haha...

December 26, 2014 8:06 p.m.

I would add more Crackling Doom. Removing the most powerful creature and dealing 2 damage to your opponent for only 3 mana is really good.

definitely add more Crackling Doom thats a must be 4 of. i would +2 of that and -2 Deflecting Palm

I really like cards like Magma Jet and Lightning Strike in these builds because they are cheap and fast enough for a prowess trigger. Plus they can burn/remove pesky creatures.

Where do you suggest I put in magma jet?

January 14, 2015 10:45 p.m.

Derpachus says... #22

I would take out the stoke and deflecting palm. Magma jet is perfect for setting up draws without any drawbacks.

OK.

Do you think 6 mountains is enough? I know you can't afford more Bloodstained Mire, but some number of Evolving Wilds serve as a budget replacement that can fetch the mountains you need for Chained to the Rocks.

tooTimid I think I shoild probably play 7-9 mountains, removing plains and a wind scarred crag for 2 . seem good?
