Detention Sphere is in your sideboard and most aggro decks use the multiples of the same card. This would also help sphere of safety. For quick stalling, why not use Fog or even Riot Control i dont know anything quick against control.. id suggest Pithing Needle in the sideboard in case they use jace, and add some counter spells in there with it.

Thanks for the advice! I'm not sure how I feel about Pithing Needle . The after-the-fact planeswalker control would be nice, but I already have counterspells and boros charm for planeswalkers if need be, and I don't know what I'd takeout of my sideboard for it. I think I'm okay without Fog , just because if the opponent's swinging big enough for me to drop it, then I'm probably screwed already anyway lol. Riot Control could be useful though. It's not just a stall, but a life gain too? That could be useful if aggro's just moving a little too fast. I just need to figure out what to drop in my sideboard.

A good sideboard card against aggro could just be Yoked Ox . Your problem in the aggro matchup is that many of your cards simply come into play too late to matter. Our furry little 1-drop here helps that problem.

I would say swapping out half the gates for shocklands will improve the speed a little, while swapping out the other half for the scry lands will help you control your draw for more consistent games. The scry lands for W/U, G/U, and G/W will come out in Born of the Gods. If that doesn't help, I would sideboard 4x Cloudfin Raptor to swap out with higher cmcs against aggro decks. Your deck has no one-drops (not a big problem) but it's playable on T1 and everything after will evolve it into a sizable attacker or nice blocker.

Blind Obedience is a lifesaver against aggro, putting them back a turn on their attacks. And if they blow it up, that's one less enchantment hate card going to your Sphere of Safety .

Thanks everyone for all these suggestions. I'll think about Cloudfin Raptor , and test him out a bit to see how he fits. I'm not usually worried about T1 because I'm almost always dropping a gate, and T2 I'll probably drop a basic and a caryatid. Though the shocklands and scrylands would ultimately improve this deck, they're too pricey for my consideration currently. I think I'm going to try to find room for Blind Obedience . Good synergy and the removal magnet is a huge bonus. Yoked Ox would be an immediate inclusion if he had defender, but without that he just doesn't fit well. Plus, T1, chances are slim for me to have white mana available. With my gates and green base, he'd very seldomly see play T1.

since white and blue are your most prevalent colors you need a full playset of azorius guildgate. In my playtests of this, two is not cutting it

You think so? I made the deck with G/U primary in mind, relying on mana ramp and control. With that in mind however, nearly 1/3rd of my land base is white because I do have so much white. I've never had inconsistencies in hitting some type of white source, being a mana dork or a land.

Would you recommend cutting more of the basics for more guildgates? I currently run the percentage of basics I do in order to hit a T2 Caryatid.
