The idea behind the deck is to control the board while putting counters on a single land. Give that land evasion ,and smash faces while protecting it with counterspells and such.

A good strategy is to put the counters on the lands that I can make into flying creatures and it VERY quickly gets out of hand. If I have the general out and play a spell for it's awake it can quite easily be pay 5-6 mana put 7 +1/+1 counters on a land.

Also lots of creatures of effects that bounces the land being targeted for a kill. So you can just play it back out without losing it. Made it today, so still a work in progress. Probably a lot of cool cards I forgot about.
