The King is dead! Long live the King!With Marchesa's assistance, depose the old royalty and take control! This deck is meant to focus on taking the winning player in the game. Dethrone will make your creatures larger every time you attack, while Marchesa's second ability will make sure most of your creatures remain in the game.River Kelpie will definitely provide extreme card draw, but, since this is Commander, other cards will also do nicely. Mindless Automaton, Underworld Connections, Read the Bones, and Disciple of Bolas will also work in River Kelpie's absence. The key to this deck is to make sure that you always have less or at least the same life total as your opponent. Treasonous Ogre, Unspeakable Symbol, and the aforementioned Read the Bones and Underworld Connections will make sure you are not in the lead, so your Dethrone is always triggering.What you do have to remember, though, is that this deck will be scarier the scarier your opponents are. Act of Treason and its countless other forms will make sure you get your opponent's creatures and usually keep them. Once you know how to play this deck, it's pretty straightforward.
