Howdy!

It's me, your best friend.

Die. :D

Welcome to my sixth and final deck. I've always considered RUG colors to be evil, as it is disproportionately powerful and has no emotion to it. At least black has fun messing with stuff and white loves to protect and destroy what it must. But a deck with no black or white? I can't abide that. Not until now. Animar, or Omega Flowey as he so closely resembles, is too fun to miss out. He enables things that weren't previously possible, turning high-cost utility creatures into extreme value. He opens up a new world of card interaction that would otherwise be totally underpowered and unplayable! I love making unplayable cards good. Doran did that, but this guy does it better.

Now before you go into evil laughter, there are no infinite combos with this deck. This is just Voltron with value. I tried to make Doran into a Voltron, but it was too weak, and too many things took over the deck's design space, and it wound up going nowhere. I intend to beat you to death with this, no pussyfooting around and bringing things back from the graveyard or battlecruising and bruising, or artifacting out with a Gauss cannon like my other decks. This is meant to make one dude as big as possible, as fairly as possible, without any all-in Auras whatsoever. He is absurdly powerful in my meta, and all we need are a bit of countermeasures to assure we don't get Gaussed ourselves.

I've got more traditional staples on the way, but what surprised me with this deck is how easy it was to build. I didn't need a Sol Ring to get this off the ground, not in the slightest. I didn't even need more than two Mountains with my first iteration; the full-arts hadn't come in the mail yet, so I just put in fetching lands and some fixing. It worked really well! I never got color screwed even with an incomplete land base, and only lost to infinite combos and stuff the first time I played with it. I got more in the mail over the next several days, and improved and refined it a little; traded for a Vizier. That guy is boss. I intend to get more, for this deck, but for now, it stands as one of the easiest and fastest I've ever built. It's totally from scratch too.
