The biggest flaw with this deck is that it isn't streamlined, and what makes it worse is that its not just one area that needs streamlining. First off you needa focus solely on its main idea, which is getting your opponents creatures in the graveyard and then taking them as your own. Adding the milling to this deck really hurts it. The more cards in the deck that mill the less likely you are to draw the cards that you are actually dependent on. Also milling might sound like a fine way to slow your opponent down, but its actually not since you are doing it a majority of the time on such a small level (just a couple cards at a time). Milling those cards sends those creatures into the graveyard but not in a way which is helpful for your enchantments. So basically take all of the milling elements out unless your are gonna make your whole deck that way. And if getting creatures out of people's graveyards and onto your battlefield is your main goal, in my opinion the ways you do that aren't efficient enough. But idk those are just some thoughts I had right now. And sorry if it reads bad, I don't feel like editing it.

Well, I really just put this together with cards I already have so it is in no way finished. I made it just to test some different ways to run my deck. So currently, the milling is very minimal. Those were the only cards I had available. But, my current main idea is to mill enough cards and control kill enough creatures to slow them down (which works pretty well against AdrinaDream's Knight deck most of the time) and get out Grimoire of the Dead and Geth, Lord of the Vault . The mill cards are not there to win me the game. They're just there to speed up the process. If it works -and it works- then the game ends with me taking every creature in her deck. If you have any suggestions on how to make it work better, that would be great; however, I think I am going to keep the mill in... at least for now. And thank you for giving me your thoughts. I really appreciate it.

Time for me to add how I would change this deck :) First off like I said I would take out the milling aspect, which would mean taking out blue. So I would make this deck pure black, but if I were to add another color it would be red. And the reason being is Grave Betrayal . The reason why I would go pure black in order to speed it up by crazy amounts. But adding red would be interesting flare. So if I were to add red, I actually imagine this deck having little to no creatures. You'd be running almost nothing but black and red creature removal and obviously more then one Grave Betrayal . So basically your opponent is in total utter fear in casting any creature cause they would just instantly get destroyed and brought onto your side of the field. But that could be a cool rather unseen take on a Grave Betrayal deck, while still keeping intact your idea of killing creatures and taking them as your own.

That sounds really awesome and I think I'll actually try that out. Also, Adrina is saying that's too brutal and trying to convince to not to do it. haha. Thanks for the idea. :D

Like if you went black and red you should consider running Bonfire of the Damned or maybe if you wanna have a couple of creatures you could throw in Vexing Devil , one of my favorite cards that I don't own. hahah Also there is Dreadbore idk so many options

If you're wanting to get creatures from the grave, a little help from Liliana Vess could prove to be acceptable, if you do get her final ability off that is.

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't really dig Planeswalkers that much, but I think if I were to put a Liliana in this deck it would be Liliana of the Dark Realms so I could play Geth, Lord of the Vault and get pretty much every card in their graveyard at once. And have tons of mana left over... for Profane Command and a few burn cards. My deck doesn't really need to make someone discard something. That would work against Grave Betrayal . And if I kept making them discard creatures, I'd have a ton of control in my hand and nothing to kill. Nonetheless, thanks for making me think of putting the aforementioned Liliana in here. :D

Oh man...

I didn't realize I was signed into my friends account. Haha. Well, uh...Man. That was super ridiculous. Anyways, it happens. Thanks for the suggestion still.

Jeez, UndeadUnx seems to have commented a crapload on this deck. Don't suppose you know what happened to him? Haven't heard from him in like a week, and I'm trying to put up a little casual tournament via LackeyCCG or Cockatrice, in case you'd be interested as well. Why not make this a legacy deck, rather than just a casual deck? It may even be modern legal, but I'd have to check to be sure.

Also, why not Dragonskull Summit instead of Rakdos Guildgate?

UndeadUnx says... #11

Dragonskull Summit would be a better choice, actually I am sure there are plenty of cards better then Rakdos Guildgate but whatevs haha. Oh and I invested so heavily in commenting on this deck cause I know the fellow who came up with it.

Oh btw, after all my suggestions how does this deck seem?

March 1, 2013 11:25 p.m.

ShanKspeare says... #13

Well, I just threw in Rakdos Guildgate because I had it here. Yeah, Dragonskull Summit is way better and will be seeing it's way into this deck.

Actually, it worked well the first night, and it worked well for Adrina, but no deck I have will work for me right now. I playtest and playtest and everything does perfect. However, when I play against Adrina I get nothing I need. So, I'm gonna take a small break. Well, a break for however long Adrina's gone.

Ah, ok. That explains the massive posts. But of a random question, but has anyone ever used LAckeyCCG? I can't figure out how to create tokens, and that's kind of a problem for me. And ahh, I hate it when that happens. I used to play against my brother all the time and he would always win. Now I seem to win the majority of the time, so things have evened out haha. What deck does Adrina use?

March 2, 2013 8:06 a.m.

UndeadUnx says... #15

I haven't ever used it :/ And I imagine that might be a problem for my deck as well hahah And that little sister of mine uses To the Point, Knights Deck

ShanKspeare says... #16

It's actually not just a problem with my deck. You see, I can't win with any deck. I lose with both of her RL decks and both of mine. I won once with my online These Knights just won't stay dead. and after that I lost four times in a row. For some reason I just don't get the cards I need. When Adrina plays with my decks, they work perfectly just like when I playtest them. I guess my Magic luck has run out for a bit. haha

Also, I've never used it but I've heard about it.

Ouch, that has to suck big time. I find if you alter your strategy a little it can make wonders though. I could also take a look at your deck if you want.

March 2, 2013 4:15 p.m.

ShanKspeare says... #18

Yeah if you want. It's right up there at the top. haha

See, I'm not getting a chance to really implement any sort of strategy in. Getting nothing to play or getting just one to two mana a game means I can't even get something going.

Sorry for the double post, but if you'd like to see it here's my other uploaded deck:

These Knights just won't stay dead.

xzzane says... #20

That's just bad luck. Do you actually own this deck, or is it just on tappedout? In either case just keep playing or playtesting until it starts working for you again. And which of your two decks do you prefer overall to the other?

March 3, 2013 3:11 p.m.

ShanKspeare says... #21

I have this deck, but it's mostly proxy because I wanted to make sure I liked it first, ya'know?

And I honestly enjoy using my knight deck I made on tappedout more.

March 3, 2013 3:19 p.m.

xzzane says... #22

Yeah, I completely understand. I once spent close to 80 bucks on a mill deck, only to realize later that it was completely useless in competitive play. If I wanted to make it competitive I would have to put in about 200 more dollars into it. I'm still annoyed at myself for just going ahead and buying it rather than testing the waters first. And ok. I'll see if there's anything I can suggest to improve your knight deck.

So I know you haven't updated the decklist. But here are a random few cards I saw that stuck out. Everlasting Torment Din of the Fireherd Waves of Aggression

Puppeteer Clique Knollspine Invocation and Rite of Consumption stuck out to me. You could use Traitorous Instinct and then use Rite of Consumption or Fling now that I think of it.
